In my case it got stuck in a rock so I just used slingshot and it got knocked out...... btw I was lvl 6 so you can do that or climb on top of a rock and then shoot it.... just make sure the rock is big enough and it cannot climb it

get it behind one of the bent tree then use a slingshot or tranquilizers and there you go now you have easy raptor protection(just dont try this with a trike)

Stego crap on my dad’s server so must not tame

I recently tamed a LVL 37 stego, heres all you need.

-Atleast 3,899 berries. Just all of them, from tinoberries to ajurberries

-301 narcoberries

-11 narcotics

-a ton of water/food for yourself

-other tames to protect the stego,

You might want to be at its side the whole time, it helps alot!

Is it just mine or will these guys just not follow me when I tame them

If you have a lot of dinos with you, have them on follow and aggro the stego while they're on passive. Stego cant get close enough to hit you and it wont hit your dinos.

A stegosaurus can collect hundreds of berries in a few short seconds. You can use those berries to tame more dinosaurs and feed yourself very easily. The only problem is that they are very slow, so if a large predator attacks you while your on your stegosaurus, it would be better to jump off and run away while your stegosaurus distracts it. You may lose your stegosaurus though

Excellent first tame when on aberration.

1) can't get knocked off mount.

2) excellent resource gather.

Downside: Slow

These guys are the best for getting hundreds of berries! They go kinda slow and have bad stamina, but they are really good at collecting berries and thatch, and decent at collecting wood, highly recommend for starters! I have a female stego that had pink spikes and is green and black, her name is watermelon.

These things can take on just about anything I killed countless raptors, trike,Carnos,theris and many others with my level 150 stego

⬆️If you want the stego to be able to run around and slam thagoimpaled dinos like a kentrosaurus.

Thagoimpaled is a portmanteau if thagomizer and impaled.

Go to a cliff and then knock it out with tranq arrows

This applies to all creatures that have a tek variation. But, at least for stegos and trikes, if you Engage the tek variant next to an living version they will not defend it. And vice versa. So, if you want a tame and it’s alone, next to a tek variant you are safe to engage without fear of getting overrun by others.

Stegos get you berries for days

If your on aberration tame one of these guys and harvest the red mushrooms they get $@@“( tons of rare mushrooms
