Honestly just use a crossbow and shoot a few tranq arrows from a distance usually takes 3-5 arrows (depending on torpor stats) and feed berries or kibble (taming with berries takes a LONG time though)

How do i tame this guy without getting obliterated?

It took a while to nock out but if you can’t with arrows don’t be afraid of putting on some flak armor and bating it till it goes down.

Three tranqs to the head with a cross bow knocked the level 11 that was beside my base right out.

Get somewhere where it can't hit you but you can hit it. Then let it get hungry and then feed it crops,berries, or kibble

Climb a high rock and use slingshot or tranqs to get him unconscious than just feed it some kibble

We need a TLC update for this creature in ark mobile version because it has a TLC on the PC version so why not in mobile?

Heavy Plate is great at bullying alpha creatures, the range, knockback and slow debuff makes it an ideal tame for killing alpha creatures the easy way.

In the early game this was the single most useful tame for gathering wood. It can carry lots and gathers it well, also if u don’t name it Steve ur weird

I was too excited to tame this dino because of people saying it has difference stances not knowing that they are not available on ark mobile. Like so that you'll save time not taming this useless slowpoke.

Grab 20 knock out arrows and shoot it while your on a raptor. Once it’s snoozing away give it rock-roots and you have a stego. Their very useful

Alright, it’s been about an hour and my stego is at about 80%, I thought the timer was to make it so that once it ended to feed it and like 20 seconds later it was tame. Not for me I followed the timer and it gave me a 25% head start 😑😕

The info on this Dino is old as far as koing it, it only took me one tranq arrow to its body and head to ko it

Great health and carry weight, decent damage, and it makes you immune to getting dismounted.

You just have to go completely insane riding it and remember not to burn all of your stamina trying to boost its speed to 3 mph

I don’t really use them but for people who like to raid bases, they are good to raid with!
