ARK patched how much they eat. Don’t worry about that now but still keep an eye on it. Eats 2 at a time now instead of 5.

Kill argy and mammoth around first, every time they start fighting them and get absolutely destroyed. It so annoying cuz I trying to tame a low one so I don’t need a trap but he keeps fighting and dying.

NET GUNS!!! No more making yourself dizzy trying to shoot these damn things in the face. Net gun them and keep a Dino to watch you back. Super easy to check levels that way too. Up so more people see this

Since no one is saying it, R-Snow Owl spawns on the bottom left side of the right half of the Genesis 2 map. Up in the mountains.

When they torpor run they glide and I couldent catch it

I have like 50 of these and I will tell you all to tame it

You need 20 narcotic Arrows and a crossbow

It might try to freeze you but it ups

You’re health

You will need prime meat

Regular argy trap works. Tested this on August 15 2020 :)

(HKW TO GET SADDLE) Just turn on extinction engrams to learn snow owl saddle blueprint. You dont have to buy the dlc, fjordur dlc already unlock all engrams but you must turn on it.

These mf babies eat like gigss! Had 4 full feeding troughs for two juveniles, wasn't even gone for more than a 3-4 hours and the feeding troughs were empty and the owls were dead.There were no other meat eating tames near the troughs JUST THE OWLS.

Don’t make a expensive trap, just use a net gun. If you are on Lost Island, search up “net” on the Genis part 2 engrams.

Babies can be raised by using the procoptodon nursing ability,dododex update this please 👍

Look up captain fatdog snow owl trap on youtube its a really good trap

They spawn on the right side on gen2 by the mountains near the top of the map

Will circle you like a griffin so just stand still and tranq it

Babies eat only one meat, not five not two as mentioned earlier, enjoy.

Tamed this early on Lost Island by using a pternodon.

Lured onto a gate trap (3*dinogateway + 2*Gate)

Easy tame and very useful to explore, spot dinos, steal wyvern eggs...
