WARNING CANNOT BOLA FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY

Use the same trap as used to trap an argy it works exactly the same. Also it’s easier if you get off your tame, shoot it and lead it into the trap as I’ve found it can be fiddly to get it in the trap on a tame. Hope this helps!

Eas trap is 1x pillar 2x triangle ceilings 4x doorframes and 2x double doorframes use ur common sense to put it together and just run under it and place 2x double doors u can place them from the back of the trap as well so no chance of it escaping

A perfect healer

If you trap one and starve it for like 5 min and throw some mutton on there you have a super quick tame. Did this with a 125 took me like ten minutes max.

Ok so you have probably seen the ones that are like you need a argy trap or bring this dino or that and you need to kill everything in the area first and I tried all of this tricks and do you know which one of this methods got me 4 snow owls none! I just winged it!🤣

Kill what ever its attacking (most of the time it attacks things) then fly up to it with a pteranodon eat a rare flower then go to a gate way trap jump off and run away in a straight line (their turning circle is very bad) then run back to trap when its finished turning

Make sure to either trap an owl or tranq it in an open field because these things, if you can even catch it when it's torpor is high, will almost all of the time fly to the river in the snow dome and get stuck in one of the cliffs on the rivers sides. Every single one I've tried to tame has drowned.

I used an argy trap it was very easy!!!! 3 Dino gates later I got myself a snow owl! ((Would highly recommend this it's my first ever snow owl and I had an argy trap up and ready))

Freezes and heals you and Dino's nearby. Also dives like a Griffin with heat vision.

The snow owl has a surprisingly small body and can fit through much smaller gaps than the argentavis. It's great for trapping other flyers and healing stuff you're trying to tame.

Don't worry about food... Tamed 125 with raw meat in like half hour without giving extra narcs

They spawn at Bleu obb on fjoder

Don’t use feeding troughs when raising these unless using a tek trough because cooked meat in the owls inventory has the same spoil time it was when you put it in a fridge

Wont do thermo view if your map is open, could not figure it out at first!

Spino kibble for this one goes pretty well about 4-5 for lvl 100

Best to tame on gen two! Find one that’s aggroed on a different animal and build an argy trap. You can just fly over to it and dash to the trap so you don’t die. Gen 2 is the best for taming dinos

They commonly get distracted and try to kill herds of mammoths and Direwolves, ultimately failing majority of the time, if your trying to tame one do your best to clear all creatures on the area or lure the owl to a secure location

If you are trying to tame I would kill everything in site and brig a Dino to watch your back I used a velonosaur sorry if I spelt it wrong
