R Snow Owls on Gensis 2 vary slightly when it comes to knocking them out.

Snow owls drop from sky when you knock them and blend in so well please track them so u do not lose them

I was building a trap for a snow owl and the owl i was trying to trap just flew into the trap while chasing a moose! So i finished the trap and tranq’d it easiest snow owl tame ever lol

Must have flying mount on extinction. Found in snow biome build a 2x2 4 high stone structure. With dino door one side and normal doorway opposite. Kite it in and close dino door. Stops it circling and fleeing. Head clips through wall so can stand outside and shoot it down then tame in peace.

Build cage door frames close together as this owl can slip through the cracks like a Pteranodon

I got mine by leading it into a trap (4 Dino Gateways in a row with 2 Dino Gates on the ends). Tranqed it with a crossbow, fed it raw meat, and named it Blizzard. I was in early game so if you’re in early game but really want one of these dudes just do this.

This is the only flyer that can get a speed mutation, and depending on your server's stat can be the quickest flyer.

Harpoon net last long enough to tame a low lvl like 20 but 8t is also good to just build a trap around them using the net

For pvp players, you can use the in air freeze to freeze enemies then bola/net gun them

Gen 2 variant has more stam! Longer healing times! This means it's gonna be better for pvp/pve. So start cloning/breeding!

By far my favourite flyer.

Very good creatures for flying and healing stuff but can't pick stuff

the most useful creature in the game imo. I always keep one on me in a cryopod, all points in stamina and anytime I need heals I pop it out and within a couple minutes everyone is back to full health. also it's predator vision is really useful if you're looking for certain things like otters or trilobites in the water or sneaky thylacoleos hiding in redwood trees

They produce snow owl pellets which because it boosts gachas loot. And snow owl pellets are very useful fertiliser

Great for healing your Dino's and tames

Good for taming quetzal just freeze it than have someone shoot it up

Shocking darts work 100%bettter on sp. FYI for all single players running mods out there!

For those on consoles, they’ll only breed in the snow biomes. They can also breed at night but it depends from place to place.
