Hol up no fish baskets on foudler NO SHADOWMANE wild card WHAT DA HEAK (I guess there just knockout tames?)

Build a tiny structure using 4 stone structures , 2 walls high all around and ramp on one side. Have shadowmane aggro on you lead it into trap. Wait until it sleep then feed it fish in crouch position no gilly suit needed until finish taming . You can set tame tracking so when it goes invisible inside trap you know which direction to approach it while in trap.

Once you catch fish in basket destroy basket in water then cryo the fish and have a cryp fridge full , dedicated to taming tons of shadowmanes.

When breeding use cooked meat! Lasts longer and fills them more.

Y'all might need two or three maewings (for the basket) once u feed it it might not one feed tame (it should) if it doesn't it will teleport somewhere else and continue sleeping but u should be able to track it if u have the stryder tracker if the second try doesn't work just dont try anymore it will not tame (if u didnt know the shadowmane has to be asleep for the tame it cannot be awake) thank u for ur time (also shadowmane are fast swimmers so if u escape predators to the water dont try)

Fungal wood is easily obtained through the weird alien ball trees where the Shadomanes spawn. Craft up a bunch of those, check out my favorite method to catching

Sanguine elixirs DO work on passive tames like these. You just have to give it its first feed and when it's ready for the next, "eat" an elixir and BOOM 30% extra! Arrow this to the sky!

The best way to acquire a Shadowmane is to transfer to any popular server, and say that your a Beach Bob who needs a starter tame. More than likely, an advanced player will gift you a Shadowmane that’s better than any wild one you could have tamed. Transfer back to your original server, and enjoy you new flying murder kitten. Might take a few tries to find a generous player, but if you bug them long enough they will usually yeild.

For saver tooth fish put basket at shore facing the opposite way tjj oh the shore and then swim and attack a saver fish and then lure it too basket and the pick up basket when it says you can pick up fish with it and repeat that. Still have yet to tame shadow though it is sooo annoying. Have a good day 😊

Ignore the bobs. Catch fish in fish baskets of 1.0 size or preferably higher, around 15 to 20 to be safe. Build a 2x2x2 hut with an open roof, pick a good lvl one with a skiff and drop it into the trap. Throw a roof over it to prevent it from aggro'ing when you're flying around. During the day it'll fall asleep and you can feed it then, through the walls. If night falls it'll wake up and you'll have to wait til 8am in-game time to continue taming, effectiveness will not be affected. If it does aggro on the trap you can either leave render distance, replace the walls it's attacking or shoot it with a net gun to fix it, however using a net gun *can* reset the tame. This thing takes some time to set up, but once it's trapped and you have the fish you're good. X

A simple beginner tame. Ignore all the other comments, these peaceful cute kitties can be easily tamed by walking up the them and just petting them. Instantly tamed no danger at all trust me!

Can turn invisible. Probably best to tame it by trapping it ad per usual with big dinos that are aggressive.

Shadowmane will keep harvested materials in they’re inventory even while untamed, so brining an Ovis to feed it can help its slowing it down and even potentially making it completely unable to move, which can make it easier to escape it if it aggros. Trapping them is kind of useless tho, as they may just start attacking the trap, so unless your walls can consume cactus broth an wear ghillie, maybe don’t trap the shadowmane, or do, idk? Maybe you’ve got a strategy for it

Don't bother trying to tame them, it's easier to trap the shadowmane than it is to catch the good sized fish. If it's not the crocodiles you gotta worry about, it's the birds that swoop in and kill the biggest fish they see.. It's been 5 hours and I officially give up 😂
