This is definitely a knockout tame, just grab a wooden club and start whacking it, and it might run away, so always get a slingshot on hand, and it’s completely passive, so don’t worry. When you knock it out feed it mejoberries.

-4x4 wall traps, and feeding them through walls still work.

Net them if they refuse to sleep.

The best way to tame a shadow mane is to fly high above it and drop down behind it and feed it a fish basket

The worst taming method and worst Ai in the whole game. Spending days to get ONE with every method tried, damn passive taming, damn fish, damn ocean reeking cat.

BTW if u wake them while sleeping(forgetting to crouch walk) it will reset the taming process to 0

Someone asked when genesis 2 will come out. Well wild card being wild card have delayed the release date to 5/26/21. But this is to be expected. Wild card have not really added a lot of voice acting besides grunts for the characters.

getting the fish for the shadowmane, people just say put the fish in a cage. but what about people who dont have the setting on to place such as me. also i dont want to feel like im taking an easy way. i want to live out my ark experience and doing so is to place a farther challenge,

ive only played since 2020 and now there isn’t much time to cherish ark 1 before it loses its popularity, ive found is place a foundation near the water then a roof going deeper into the water. place fish baskets on the roof make sure you have lots. then have a aggravated fish follow you next to the settled baskets (30s after placement it’s settled so it can instantly catch a nearby fish.
