if you cant tame an underwater mount (like me) they swim, EXTREMELY FAST underwater, they're the best for collecting oil, and even better if you have scuba gear.

Single player uses:

1. Early game power dino: Sarcos are fairly strong and very easy to tame.

2. Taming mount: Sarcos are aster than they look, can turn on a dime and you can use a weapon while riding them.

3. Aquatic mount: They're even faster and more agile underwater, just beware there is a glitch where they instantly die if they go on land, though it's very rare so unlikely to happen.

For the person who is confused in what level to get the sarco saddle, you have to be level 35 to be able to learn and craft it, it takes 230 hide, 75 fiber, and 20 cementing paste.

With the new mounted combat feature this guy really shines. Build hp and with a decent saddle and a pkle or sword, a player can kill most land and sea dinos no problem.

They DO NOT scare piranhas in ASA. Great for fast transit in water but about it. Maybe even a swamp tank to help with taming. 🤷‍♂️

11 sarcos over level 30 can kill an alpha megalodon in under an minute. None died.

I tamed one of these bois in a trap when it was level 80. I used it to get oil at sea because my base was on the beach. If you decide to do the same as me I will warn you one thing, stay clear of the jellyfish. They killed my sarco at level 138 it was defenseless because it got put to sleep. But it is good for quickly getting lots of oil early in the game, just make sure it’s safe.

Playing solo, can't recommend the Sarcosuchus enough. Tamed a level 76, it's 117 now, and now I own the rivers. A mid level Sarco can handle megalodons, mid level spinos, rexes, and at least low level alpha raptors. My higher lever Sarco hasn't met her match yet. I find combat with them to be awkward at times but they've got great health, stam regens underwater, and once you're in position they deal good damage quickly. Couldn't ask for a better early game mount.

my FAVORITE WATER MOUNT!! outruns everything, regens stamina scary fast, barrel roll attack, and never gotta worry about them being beached or useless out of water!!! never had a problem taming them either 10/10 critter

If you live near a swamp, then you’ll be able to use this Dino for incredibly fast travel! It’s also durable enough when tamed to kill or run from any threats. Level up speed and stamina, as well as weight.

It's one of the best water dino, it's fast in water and has infinite oxygen,this croc is the king of underwater caves, it's very powerful even in early game and the best beach dino

Try to tame a male and female get them to 60+ Level and start breeding with every baby you get imprint and then start breeding imprinted ones, once you get a mutation imprint that but because that one will be a really good sarco when adult make it strong enough just incase you come upon something horrifically strong that you need to fight, and ur alone with ur mutated imprinted sarco, and in my opinion there the best for water caves there fast, strong though there not a “boss” type of Dino there good for underwater caves and exploring the ocean but if you wanna explore the ocean make them really strong because when I was a noob I had a lvl 55 sarco I took it out in the ocean (it wasn’t imprinted) AND A LVL 10 MEGLADON ALONE KILLED IT 😀. There really fast and agile in water and if you turn ur screen behind them and bite they will do a really fast turn.

I think Sarcos are amazing mounts. When in water, they are decently fast and don't have an oxygen stat. Also they don't run out of stamina because it doesn't go down at all. They are also pretty good land mounts. Although they are very slow, they are pretty powerful. I wouldn't suggest fighting anything harder than a pleseosaur and on land nothing harder than a Rex. All in all, I think Sarcos are amazing mounts!

A swift and tough mount, even on land. Even faster in the water.

Attack speed is slow, and the attack range is a small, wide cone, so enemies that are next to its neck tend to not get hit, but keep the enemy a bit further forward and the sarco will be capable of killing it quickly.

Will get stuck on trees easily, can't fit through standard dinosaur gates, and will take wide turns when following.
