1 day after i tamed a carno and built a base in ark mobile hard a LVL 260 male sarco spawned near my base (i was level 7)! Y'all im planning to tame him when i learn crossbow and tranq arrows wish me luck boys.

I’m a beginner and I was dead scared of these guys because I have a boat base and ride the shores. In the bay in the south end I was attacked by one I was dead scared. So when I want to kill one I bring it to the turtle thing and that kill is it and I harvest the prime meat.

early game : 1) Fast underwater mount 2) maybe is good as defender of base against aggressive dilos. But i dont know if its worth the risk

Mid game: Has nothing to offer except eggs. Weak rideable experience with attacks that are more targeted to ONE someone so it cant fight more than 1 at time 2) health is ok, but with more than 1 at time this doesn't matter, you die (or have to run) anyway

Easiest and safest way to tame a sarco:

Tame a paracer(the weird giraffe things) and equip it with a platform saddle. Get everything you need to tame the sarco. I recommend finding the one you want to tame before you go in. Once you spot the sarco kill everything hostile in the area including kapros,titanaboas, and raptors, but NOT OTHER SARCOS. Once it’s safe turn your paracer around so that it’s facing back you way you came out of the swamp. Then dismount and run to the back of the platform to make sure the sarco is aggroed on you. Then remount the paracer and run out of the swamp. Once you’re think you’ve gone far enough turn the paracer so that the sarco is now charging towards its side. Run to the edge of the platform and shoot tranquilizers at it. The sarco is aggroed to you and not your paracer so there is no danger for your paracer. Since it’s turn radius is horrible it won’t be able to escape once it starts to torpor run. Now you can safely hop down and begin taming it.

If you are gonna tame one of these big ole beasts, all you need to do is punch the back thigh and turn when it turns because it can’t bend back which gives you an easy tame.

How I tamed my sarco,

-find a sarco, I used up about 11 to 12 tranq arrows

-feed him or her fish meat

-I used soothing balm (optional)

Wait for it to wake up, then introduce the sarco friend to the rest of ur dinos!

I tamed my first sarco by climbing up the back half of a rock and getting him to stand at the bottom while I repeatedly shot him with tranq arrows. Works pretty well unless you fall. In which case; may the odds be ever in your favor.

Post-TLC tamed, ridden Sarcos can now whip around and bite targets on their flanks. So much for that blind spot, eh?

Their right click lunging attack can also hit fliers flying way too close to the ground as well.

If u see one and want to kill it use a trike and battle it on land

Here is how to tame Sarco:

1. Craft a bow and tranq arrows

2. Craft Narcotics

3. Find Sarco

4. Sarcos are big, so find a spot where are a lots of rocks, woods...

5. Shoot tranq arrows at it

6. When it falls feed it raw meat or raw fish meat... don't forget NARCOTICS

7. BOOM now you have a Sarco

I’d really stick to rivers with this one yes there are offen time therazinos but at least you don’t have to worry about kapros like in the swamp

1:load up like it’s ww2

2:find a swamp or lake

3:locate a sarco

4:tranq it with 10 arrows

5: Shove fish meat in its mouth

6:make sure there are no other sarcos around to kill you

For everyone saying they scare piranhas it only works when you look directly at them but this also works for coleocanths and salmon you can also death roll fish wich apart from sarco the only other creature that I know can carry fish is megalosaurus

For low-level people RUN!

It is fight or die.

For any new players, if u want to tame run up to its back legs while it is on land and whack him with a club remembering to stay away from the head. U might need 2 clubs and the use of fists. Tame it away from water so it can’t swim away.

For being so scary and intimidating its kinda weak ... if u have a bow

One of the absolute BEST dinos from lvl 35-50 in my opinion. Super fast in water. Not exactly the best health but the damage and speed make up for it. 100% reccomend!!

High levels are in caves. The white chunks on the wall are crystal. Metal pick axe will give you a really good amount and will also clear the area to get the sarco out
