Anklyo’s get stuck on the sarco’s snout when ur riding it~ it’s a good-ish way to farm exp.

One day, I was on my way to herbivore island with my taming raft and something started to attack. I dismounted my raft and behind me was a 145 sarco munching on my frog.

I quickly whistled passive and, by some miracle, was able to close both dino gateways, trapping the sarco inside. I also, by some miracle, had the right kibble on hand and kibble tamed it.

litterly just bring it to land and chase it by it’s tail u might go half health but u will get use to it if ur near a lot (like me) they get easier to kill once ur use to killing them may not get it on first try but later with practice you will

ON MOBILE-

I was looking for oil in some kinda deep water, and I spotted a plesiosaur, I've never seen one on mobile before so I attacked. It was level 150 with about 9000-10000 health, my level 201 sarco whupped his @ss. It's not super strong either, the spin does 300 damage. And also, if you looking for quick leveling on this guy, go in the water and fight a megalodon, fight one, and many more will come, I reccomend around 4000 hp or higher.

Very easy tame, use pteradon and fly to rock then get of pteradon and shoot tranq arrows or slingshot and when sarco is knocked out feed it fish meat and you have a sarco. (You don’t need a pteradon, it’s just for a easy get away if the sarco attacks) I have one sarco at my base, her name is jaws and we are best friends.

Do what me and my mates did

1) find a nice scaly boi

2) have one tribe member distract the sarco while your hit it with darts or arrows

3) load the sarco with food

4) congrats, u got a sarco.

Well mine did and saved my life from death cause I was knocked out.

I suggest you try to ko or kill from rang or with a large dino so they don't death roll you to oblivion

They are very good for traveling in the water they are very fast in the water but slow on land. They have good stamina and their attack is also pretty decent especially in the water. You only need to be around level 35 to craft a saddle and theyre great mounts. If your enemy is too strong or can dismount you (raptor for example) run into deep water on ur sarco, most land predators are slow swimmers and you can easily take them out once you lure them into the water. Just make sure to click attack a little bit before you reach your target in water because you'll dart right past it. Also they can't swim backwards and it takes a while to stop swimming too because of the momentum. I use them to hunt brontos, theris, carbonemis, trikes, raptors, even spinos but its pretty dangerous.

A beaver or two can take them on but in the old days u could go up to its leg and just kill it with a stone hatchet while it’s going u spin me right round baby right round but when they updated it so that it can pounced I get screwed every time

The best way to deal with short yet OP creatures is to climb a rock then shoot it with tranq darts

i think TLC 2 should give Sarcos way more death roll-able creatures. maybe the devs can make it take reduced damage from some creatures. they can also make it have more health because Crocodiles are also known to have armored skin. Or maybe the Sarco gets some kind of buff when it enters the swamp. Similiar to the Spino's hydration buff. And maybe Swamp creatures are passive against the Sarco and gets increased damage from the Sarco.

if this was in TLC 2, it would make the Sarco one of the best Swamp mounts and this would also make the Sarco a great PvE mount.

Iv been stat breeding these in pvp. I have mosas tusos all tames i could ever want. But this guy is my go to for cave pvp and scouting. 1000 melee sarco op. Had fun with to manas for ages. They eventually won but it took them forever lol

What you need to tame them is like 6 or 7 tranq arrows, and like 30 meat. Go on a rock so they can’t reach you and then tranq them, once they are knocked out give them the meat, they take a while to tame so be patient and you might want to have 2 or 3 narcotics near just in case. Once they are tamed you can craft a saddle for them at level 35, they go super fast in the water and when you ride them around, you can kill a lot of stuff and get lots of meat and hides.

Sarco saddle is called sarco saddle need to be lvl 35 to get it takes forever to tame i would bring some narcotics narco berry bio toxin or somthing and what everyone says about being on a high rock to shoot with tranq arrows and stuff is so dumb they must suck and ark and be cowards bc I tamed this thing with my fists face to face no running and I didnt even get injured and I killed alot of these when I was a low lvl around 10 I think face to face with a spear 😑 but they r great pets definitely tame this.

Easy to kill. Put a spike wall infront of them and there dead. There not a problem to tame!

Do not mess with unless prepared. Get up high and shoot with arrows. You need allot.

So i was with my two parasaurs then suddenly i saw another sarco spawned on my island so i built like a cage for me to tame it but when i left my parasaurs trying to find the sarco he was literally killed by my parasaurs right in front of me and i literally went like “what the-“ like two parasaurs LOW level but i dunno that sarco was obliterated tho my two parasaurs survived somehow...
