There’s a small island thing just to the east of the spawn location South Zone 2. I call that island Sarco Isle. Why do I call it Sarco Isle? Well, within the first 15 days of living there, I had 4 encounters with Sarcos. If you are a noob, stay away from Sarco Isle!

Sarcos are big and slow as long as on land a trap is not necessary to tame one but if you want to build a trap I recommend three stone foundations all placed vertically stone walls placed around the all sides except the very front where you will place a doorframe(don't worry they cannot fit through one) lastly two stairs, you will want to place one on the top of the back most wall then place a second stair on the on the other stair not on the sides on the bottom. If it makes you feel better you can add a third stair but on is not necessary and you may need a fourth foundation. Tranq that baby out feed it some meat 🍖 wait then you got yourself a Sarco🐊. You will need three foundations, 8 walls, one doorframe and two stairs.

If one crawls right up on you, just reach around start stabbing its head with a pike. Works very well for low level players and prevents them from doing much damage to your base.

Today I am very happy I saved a parasaur from a Sarco and i tamed that para and guess what!? It was a tek para

I find sarcos rlly useful if you have a raft base and u want a under water tame, cuz you can just place them on it while other under water tames you always have to put them follow u when you move the raft and sometimes i forget or it dies bc something is attacking it. (I play on pvx srvr with changing zone thats why i don t have a land base)

Sarcos will randomly die when you exit the water when swimming with them. I have no idea if this is anti-mesh or fall damage but there is a chance it will instantly die or take massive amounts of damage when leaving the water. This glitch has been around for 3 years now and still hasn’t been patched. :/

Like a lot of people have said before, Sarco’s are one of the easier tames that even lower levels can obtain. I am only a lvl 24 so far and the Sarco I just tamed not even 15 mins ago is a lvl 14+ taming lvl buff. I suggest that you use fish raw/prime to tame because she took 20:00+ mins to tame and it was excruciatingly boring to do nothing (no narcotics or more than 40 fish meat needed).

I learned the spinning technique all my myself when I'm trying to knock/kill a sarco u just go to its thighs and hit it while it's spinning around at u till u knock/kill it.

Sarco pode ser usado para transporte, para pescar(obs:apesar de ser um crodilo não é tão bom pescador pois ele é rapido e as vezez você vai tentar pegar o peixe e ele vai passar pelo peixe e não vai matar o peixe), ou para combater entrusos o sarco tem boa resistência e boa quantia de dano e se for nível alto ele consegue matar 2 trikes(que não sejam muito fortes) sosinho

These guys are so easy to knock out and need not a lot of meat and narcotics so if you see one you can take it out with a slingshot pretty easily and insanely easy with tranq arrows. They are a great mount for people who would rather focus on building early game and get mounts later on since once you can learn the saddle I prefer it over a raptor for a scout/hunter since you can go underwater and farm chiton easily and not be afraid of water dinos.

Most beginners hate these but there pretty easy to tame you can do lots of things to tame these Bois but all you need is a pachy and keep at the back of it and keep attacking pretty soon it will take a nap then feed it some fish and you have big boi

Don’t use a bat I used it it did not go well it will just run and go in water so use bow or crossbow with tranq darts or arrows

These can knock down trees, but cannot harvest their resources.

If you find make a slingshot have like 20 fish meat stand a tall rock then shoot it till he gets KOed

Anklyo’s get stuck on the sarco’s snout when ur riding it~ it’s a good-ish way to farm exp.

One day, I was on my way to herbivore island with my taming raft and something started to attack. I dismounted my raft and behind me was a 145 sarco munching on my frog.

I quickly whistled passive and, by some miracle, was able to close both dino gateways, trapping the sarco inside. I also, by some miracle, had the right kibble on hand and kibble tamed it.

litterly just bring it to land and chase it by it’s tail u might go half health but u will get use to it if ur near a lot (like me) they get easier to kill once ur use to killing them may not get it on first try but later with practice you will

ON MOBILE-

I was looking for oil in some kinda deep water, and I spotted a plesiosaur, I've never seen one on mobile before so I attacked. It was level 150 with about 9000-10000 health, my level 201 sarco whupped his @ss. It's not super strong either, the spin does 300 damage. And also, if you looking for quick leveling on this guy, go in the water and fight a megalodon, fight one, and many more will come, I reccomend around 4000 hp or higher.

Very easy tame, use pteradon and fly to rock then get of pteradon and shoot tranq arrows or slingshot and when sarco is knocked out feed it fish meat and you have a sarco. (You don’t need a pteradon, it’s just for a easy get away if the sarco attacks) I have one sarco at my base, her name is jaws and we are best friends.
