They have a poor vertical swim rate so the don’t dive or surface very fast but they are great for loony distance water travel.

In water , It will swim around u like a flyer , on land it , it will just straight up attack u , so I recommend if it is only one sarco battle it in water .

To knock it out ez, use a club and keep runn8ng at its back leg (any) and hitting. U will garantee that u will take ZERO damage if done right up so all can see

I tried and battled a sarco that lived near my thatch base once (I was a noob) and the thing killed me 5 times before making it unconscious though I didn’t think of taming it so for revenge I killed it it is also very slow so you can outrun it easily

If you get a max level Sarco you are set for fish meat and sea transportation Megs are just as good but not a versatile

Be very careful when riding these in your water pen, was just trying to park my male when he torpedoed into the dock, launched himself into the air and instantly killed himself

This thing is the devil it literally waits for something to get in the water or waiting for someone to get close to it

These guys are powerful at a high level i even managed to kill an alpha tusoteuthis with a level 260 Sarco i tamed him at lvl 180 but because of the taming bonus he got extra levels

They have a really slow bite animation so what you should do is chain attacks with them by spamming the other skills. You need to spam leaps, turn your cam around towards the dino and basic attack before continuing the cycle. Many called it trash because it attacks slow but in reality, it has to spam different attacks in order to be viable in battles. Really fast underwater aswell.

Super ez to tame!😄 I recommend getting somewhere high or using a Beezlebuffo to jump ahead and shoot it with tranq arrows or toxiant arrows🐸. Once it’s knocked shove prime meat in its mouth 🍖 Then BOOM tamed Sarco 🤯

EATS SLOWER THEN Pterodactyl but earns a lot of Xp

When you see one on land TAME it. Useful when crossing waters fast swimmers. Just beware of jellies on your way. If seen on water, get the f- out of the water.

It’s says you need narcotics to tame with fish meat but I tamed one without using a single narcotic

If you recently just leveled up to the point where you can research its saddle, I highly recommend taming a sarco at a low level (LV70 or below if solo). They are very fast in water and if you are on mobile, they have three great abilities plus they can attack to the sides when you angle your camera that way. The only downside is the turn speed on land and slightly poor base stats when compared to Dinos.
