Tips & Strategies

When i was level 35, i tamed a sarco, which was surprisingly pretty easy, i just used my crossbow with tranq arrows. A few levels later I got a saddle for my sarco, on land, it is pretty slow, but can also deal a lot of dmg, in water its very strong and extremely fast and can be used for easiely killing megalodons, which gives you a lot of fish meat and fish prime meat, also its at normal speed in the water way faster than a megalodon, I killed a leedsychtis too. The only thing you have to keep distance is the jellyfish and the sparkling eel. It's also a really good option for getting in water caves, because it can walk. Also it needs no oxygen. I am level 85 now and it is still my favourite swimmer.
More Sarco Utility Tips
Once upon a time, my Sarco and I were hunting some Megalodons for fish meat, when a pack of Cnidaria stung the both of us, I tried to swim to the shore but it's too late. Mantas and Megs attacked me and my Sarco. My Sarco tried to fight back, biting his opponents. I swam back to the shore, and... My Sarco never came back. His dead corpse was a feast for Mantas and Megalodons. I hold my fists, my mind thirst for revenge. Rifle in hand, I swam back, shooting every Megalodon and Mantas I see. It was a bloodbath, bodies of Megalodon and Mantas floating in the ocean. I avenged his death… My Sarco…
Rain pours down to the land. He left his beloved wife and son.
One like = One Sarco lives.
This is probably the best traveling creature in the game… at least on any map with intricate river and ocean systems. It is almost as fast as the itchy but it is easier to tame, it can go on land, and has ok attack (definitely better than the itchy). Isn’t that good for deep sea exploration such as getting pearls and oil like the basilo is but it is great for early game and late game. Way better for getting around than any flier, not great for getting resources but for taming something or moving base locations it is perfect. Stop sleeping on the sarco
TLC patch coming March 2018 adding "Deathroll" grab attack on small creatures and a grab attack (possibly thrash) on larger ones, gaining a 180 degree attack and a small lunge to its attack (maybe for deathroll purpose), will no longer aggo pirahnas and in the wild will sit with mouth gaped open awaiting prey.
