These creatures can be tamed with tranq arrows fairly easily, although it may hard to determine the level so I recommend getting extra tranq arrows. After taming the sarco is VERY USEFUL given the time you can tame them if you are experienced enough, they have good dps, go extra fast in water not to mention they don't have to resurface for air. Great for traveling long distances with good defensive options. The one condition is that in the water there are cniderias or jellyfish if you will. If they make contact with you or your dino they will stun them and deal damage overtime. I highly recommend getting a crossbow to be able to attack from a distance because melee won't work, killing them in advance is good because they can move towards you slowly. If you can work with those complications then this will be a beast of a tame.

If you are new watch out when you are in the water these guys come out of nowhere in the water there insanely fast in water one of the best mounts in water

I play on mobile, and These guys are great creatures for everything, they are incredibly fast in the water and even on land(when tamed) they can outrun a parasaur, and parasaurs aren't slow! Unfortunately their biting speed is horrific. You can pretty much spam the spin attack which I do think it does more damage than the normal attack, and these guys can also turn on a dime whilst attacking, there is no way this guy gets ambushed, I took on a level 80 alpha raptor with this guy, my sarco had like 3800 health, but it tore through that raptor, these guys are great creatures, but due to the slow attack speed, you gotta put lots of melee into them, and stamina as well cause the lunge attack and the spin attack consumes a decent amount of stamina, but it recovers stamina in not time, so that rights all of its wrongs.

They are the best starter tame you can get but they are still good in the mid and late game

If you wanna kill them stay by the tail that can't hot you then trust I know from experience

Best thing I can say is definitely go for the middle part of its body if you can't immobilize it or make it unconscious with darts. I basically had to walk around in a circle avoiding its mouth until he was unconscious. Luckily he was a level 4 and not in the 30s and up like the past few I got eaten by... Good luck!!!

1.Find a sarco

2.Go to its tail and play ring around the Rosie and slap(you can use bare hands lol)its tail until it sleeps.

3.Feed it 40-30 fish meat(prime is optional)

4.You op water mount now nice.

Very good and a quite powerful creature.Its death roll is terrific to small or medium sized water creatures or land,I think?...Anyway..In my single player,I had a SARCO named Killadi...He's only lvl 12...But his power is quite damaging...When I saw a manta gang when I was riding him,They came to attack me..When a manta came close,I accidentally swiped down in the screen,And What I see is terrific...He spinned manta in his jaws and killed it...I surely recommend to tame these beasts....Now,my Killadi is lvl 94...😀😀

Best way to get a sarco is just seat near to seashore with wooden chair, he/she spawned immediately to attack you and them you can know him with arrow and enjoy your new buddy

If you need a tip on how to get a saddle it’s pretty straight forward! You need a lot of cementing paste which is annoying to make lol. All you need to do is find a beaver dam and they have tones in them!!!! Be careful tho cuz the beavers get mad n can kill you so have a fast tame. You can find lots of dams in the north of the island by the snow biome btw

If you are looking for an easy way to tame these early game. Get it to aggro on you, dodge the chomp as it comes for you and then go to one of it's back legs. As it tries to spin to get you, follow it's back legs and punch, tranq or club it until it goes unconscious🌟

I’m telling you right now, cliffs will really be your friend when taming. Obviously you will need meat or kibble to tame. I recommend fish meat.

You will need a good amount of tranq arrows.

Then you do the standard knockout and feed.

If your in a swamp, lure it towards you on a flyer, (preferably a low level In case it dies.)

If you don’t have a cliff nearby, just run and shoot at it until you knock it out. (Get some stamina levels, they are fast.)

Can use a 1x1 foundation, 4 doorways and a couple stairs/ramp to trap it, easy and cheap trap.

Very easy tame, crossbow and at least 6 trank arrows, and some fish meat!

If you tame one in south cave 1 you won't be able to get it done unless you have a cryopod
