Taking in mobile is easy. Trap it then shot it with darts. Then pump it full of bio toxin and a balm. Then enjoy the soooooo ride home. ;)

Here are some tips I learnt from taming these,

1. Always starve it for a while before putting allo kibble in, for a level 9 I recommend starving for maybe 55 minutes, a level 5 would need to be starved around 25-30 minutes or else it would eat very slow and may take longer than an hour.

2.NEVER give it all the allo kibble at once, unless you know it’s the exact amount needed dont put it all in!!! Only put half the amount you have, a level 10 would need maybe 15 kibble, a level 5 around 10 kibble, griffins will eat all the kibble even when tamed!! Don’t put all kibble in griffin they will eat until they’re full or out of food, food being the extra kibble.

3.DONT use narcotics, if you can feed it bio toxin every time torpor starts getting a bit too low, usually narcotics make effectiveness go down.

4.Never use griffin to go into battles unless it’s a really high level, 70+ griffins glitch a LOT and it makes them vulnerable so until you have heaps of stam, heaps of health, and heaps of melee dont go into a fight! You don’t want your griffin dead!!

5.To knock out griffin I use a small trap and 30 tranq, I don’t usually require 15 unless I miss a lot of shots, unless it’s a high level above 20 you may need a bit more, it’s best to be prepared with 25 extra tranq.

Anyways yea I’m not a author so this probably doesn’t make any sense but here ya go. that’s all

(Will only work For god mode players only) If you set the speed to 400 then you can tame it with raw meat in 63 mins (while also using the level trick every now and then)

Looked at dododex it requires 81 allo kibble WITH 15x soothing balm and itll takes 6 hours....

Just nope...

Just tamed a low level female named Thébona with raw prime meat and a soothing balm. I do not recommend doing this. It took >1 hour and >25 raw prime meat. I had to murder 3 brontos and 2 diplos for their meat. Luckily I had my lvl 245 imprinted Rex with me so it wasn’t too difficult. If you want to tame a Griffin, get allo kibbles, even if it’s low level.

Not all the griffins eat in the same amounts no matter the level. I tamed a lvl 45 with 16 kibble and my friend tamed a lvl 40 with 19 kibble

When your taking a griffin you should watch out for there torpor bc with my experience they drop fast

You should tame a level one with a soothing balm 10x

cause if you tame a lvl 1 without a soothing balm it

will take a hour to tame it with kibble so to tame this

guy follow these steps:

1:First get a soothing balm 10x and allo

kibble.

2: knock out the Griffin.

3:put the soothing balm and soothe it.

4:Put 3 allo kibble in it.

5:Wait to let it eat and be sure to bring narcotics.

6:BOOM.YOU GOT a low lvl griffin eg

7:please hit that like button

This is for first time tamers* After you tame your first or second griffin the next 2,3,4,5… griffin tames will be easy and won’t be as stressful because you know what to expect and you have more experience. I am on a easy difficultly and all that but currently taming 2nd griffin, so much easier than the first! No panic attacks or rushing around, it’s that simple.

The Name Change Ticket is a waste of good amber in SP, the thing always reverts to the original

1. Prepare many Allo kibbles, bio toxins,

and a soothing or major soothing balm.

2. Make 4 stone Dino gateframe and 2 Dino

3. Find the one which respect you.

4. Lure it to the trap, and trap it.

5. Shoot it with darts, cuz usually arrows

will kill it.

6. If you're in single player, make a bed

and foundation in order to skip the

time.

7. Use the soothing balm on it, and feed

it.

8. Good luck, and Enjoy your Griffin.

lmaoo it took almost 4 hours with 15x soothing balm and allo kibble for lvl 145

Tamed a Griffin today but lost Argie, Casca. Now Guts (my other argie) is alone😭😭💔 and yesssss it's a Berserk reference 😂

what you should have:

- Allosaurus Kibble (tame 2 or 3 female Allo's to get eggs)

- Bio Toxin or Narcotics (LOTS!)

- Tranquilizer darts and toxicant arrows work best

- 4 Stone Dinosaur Gates and 2 doors

- Soothing balm (if you can get your hands on it)

- If you have not yet reached level 85+ or share the same last name with the griffin you can purchase a name change ticket to change your character's name (it works)

- Some cooked or raw prime meat just (in case)

- A fast flyer (with high health and stamina stats, trust me)

Taming:

- Build a Bird trap with the Dinosaur Gateways

- place some sleeping bags (for in case you die)

- Look for the griffin with same last name or letters as yours. This is how you gain their respect (Could be "ic", "ell", "ot", etc.) So if the griffin's name is lancelot your name has to also end with "ot".

- Once you found it, Arrgo the griffin and lead it into the trap. (It might take a while for it to get in and you/your tame might take a few hits in the process).

- Once trapped , tranq it until it falls unconscious.

- Feed it some kibble (use Soothing balm to make things go faster)

- KEEP AN EYE ON THAT UNCONSCIOUS METER!

And BOOM! You have yourself a griffin!

Bonus tip; you cannot tame it if it does not respect you!

You can get the gold crown for free,aside from the primal pass from free amber ads.It took me about 3 real days to get it and it's was definitely worth it.

Remember that a griffin does not respect you, you can’t ride them even their tame

DO NOT TAME IT WITH JUST RAW MEAT. 😓😓😓

Easy peasy tame.

First make sure your surname is the same as a griffin

( if u cant find a low lvl with ur surname kill all griffins that dont have your surname, eventually a low level will spawn with ur surname)

Find a low lvl griffin with your surname and make sure it respects you

Trap it in a stone dinosaur gateway trap

Make sure u have at least 15-20 allo kibble and soothing balm

Dont start knocking out once trapped

Sleep in sleeping bag then tranq it out

Feed kibble

Low lvl griffin

Do this twice until u have two low lvl griffins

Breed for griffin or super griffin kibble

Tame high level

Boom u have a high level

I used the name change ticket thingy and it worked, still, despite them being quite majestic but I think you should wait till you hit lv85 and save the amber instead, currently at lv82, got a couple of Quetz, an Argie, a Tabi and a Pt, more than enough for moving around, imo the only actual advantage the griffen has is that youre able to shoot while the creature is mounted, which can be lowkey done with a Tapi, keep in mind that unless you had a soothing balm and at least 55 Allo kibble which are relatively expensive to make, this guy is pretty much a pain in the butt to tame as it takes a long time to tame, saw some decent comments about taming low lv ones in order to get griffen kibble to tame high lv ones, smart tip imo.
