So idk how to tame it but they do look cool I was lvl 100 on the sever that makes you lvl 100 went to a griffin and gusse what it reposts me :D so what should I do I just started on the lvl 100 sever do like 1 should I tame it do like dowen should I tame it which won

If u want to tame this guy:

-u must lvl 85

-have a crown (buy it on shop,but u have to buy primal pass to unlock the crown).

To tame it faster you should sleep because it takes a lot of time for him to eat

Build a trap at top of griffin mountain. Lure one in and sleep one night. Then tranq it and put a 15x soothingbalm on it. It will be tamed in no time. Workst with high lvl too .

For the trap: u need 36 stone pillar and around 10 or 11 stone roofs. Put 3 pillors on each other and place the roofs above them. Leef one side open so u can lure the griffin into the trap

I so sad,I wanted one ever since I found out about them,I go to griffin mountain and I knock one out,it turns out I killed it.next day I go there again with tranquilizing darts.only that because I don’t know how to get soothing balm.it turns out the gun is not the one.I looked at the info before I go and it turns out you need a other version of the gun to tranquilize them!!! Then In rage I stopped playing for about 5 months.all because I don’t know how to tame one

Want to get a high level?

1. Run the Cave of the Hunter a few times and get soothing balms

2. Go tame two low level griffins (1 male, 1 female)

3. Breed them and use the fertilized egg for Griffin Kibble

4. Then go tame up a high level one with the Griffin Kibble

Use name ticket it’s the easiest way.

Tameable after level 85 I believe so don’t try to find one that respects you before then but don’t trust me 100%

If they respect you, they will not attack you unless u attacked them

An easy way to tame these guys!!! Just get a 10x balm and feed it to the griffin then starve it out and give it prime!!! Easy tame!!!!!

I recommend taking high level I know many people are saying that tame low but you can tame high level no matter just lure it to the trap and trap him then just go to sleep in ark before knocking it out go to bed don't go to bed after knocking him or he will be wake up then knock him up tada he will have 0 food tame it with kibble and soothing balm hears your high level Griffin but they have really less stamina

Hi, I tamed a level 3 female, and none of my tames died (I tried something like this months ago and lost a couple of my tames) first, make a 3x3 stone floor on Griffen mountain. Then on 2 sides make a 3x3 wall each. Then at back make 3 walls high on row 1 and 3. If you fill it right up, your tame has no where to go. Now you need about 4 or 5 allo kibble if you use a 15x soothing balm. You get something like a pter with a saddle and you need some tranq arrows and bio toxin arrows, and of course nacrotic. You need to lead in a griffen that respects you, then you fly out the back because they can’t fit threw. Then you have to get off your pter and place walls where the griffen came through. Make sure there is no 2x2 space in the wall or else it will get away. Once it’s trapped go track to the back, and then shoot like crazy at the griffen, and now you have knocked out a griffen. This worked for me, but it got out of cage first time because I was to slow, I got it in again and I k.o it.

These guy are not easy tames YOU NEED A soothing Balm or the tame will take forever at this stage use Allo kibble and it will take a few hours so I recommend taming low levels with same suffix then breed to make kibble and tame griffins super easy!

WARNING unclaiming them will make them wild again!

Tame one with lvl 999 with prime fish meat and will last only 22 days :)

The most effective way we’ve found to taming a griffin is with major balm and griffin kibble made from griffin implants. On lower levels it only takes one kibble and about 10-15min if that.

I’m taming them soon I got a Better longneck Rifle it does 436 damage

When you get a Baby Griffin, make sure to have lots of every candy to speed up most of the time. And maybe have a Teddy Bear.

If ur just using the tranq arrows make sure the griffin has full health or you kill it before it’s nocked
