If you have God console than I suggest finding a level 40-50 griffin and get a 10x balm and ALOT OF PRIME MEAT LIKE LOTS than trap and knock out the griffin your gonna tame than use 10x balm and spam biotoxin like 50 or so than put prime meat in and MAKE SURE THE BALM IS USED ON THE GRIFFIN than spam level up target and it will eat really fast and you get a high level griffin mind you...it will never be able to be knocked out easy since level up target gives the target alot of torpor

Good Guide:

Get 10x balm from tributing the artifact of the hunter

Hunt a low lvl griffin if this is ur first

Use 5 Dino gates, have 2 with a gate on each end the others open

Lure griffin into trap with a flyer

Get allo or prime even better griffin kibble if possible

Knock it out

Starve as long as you can, use bio toxin to knock it out

If u starved it should tame faster

Then u have a griffin enjoy, hope dis helps pls up!

Honestly it’s worth hoarding amber to buy a 15x soothe balm. 6-12 allo kibble and it’s tamed in maybe ten minutes using a gate trap. It’s harder when you trap a unicorn and need to quickly tame two griffins of the same house so you can produce an egg to make griffin kibble so you can tame the unicorn xD

Don't tame it withput soothing balm. At level 1, it would take 50++ allosaur kibble. It's the same as taming lvl 150 mosa withput balm

I have a Level 8 Griffin, Gave 6x Allusaur kibble, smoothing balm with 10x taming and it ate all 6 kibbles and was only at 30% taming. I really dont know why taming food is so weak for a Griffin... Can it heal cancer, revive you and your teammates?! 😂🙈

To the person who said "Real men tame it with a slingshot"

A slingshot knockout always kills it. Seriously, just look at the knock out tab.

Speaking from personal experience here.

Just use a longneck rifle with tranq darts.

You could use prime or kibble, but griffins aren't really worth the time of 10 HOURS WITH PRIME FOR A LEVEL 15. They can't carry much, die really easy, and are a real pain when I go to get metal.

If anything, they're a trophy tame, not a useful one.

You would be better to use those 10 hours to trap, KO, and tame a Giganotosaurus. The Giga will no doubt serve you better than this thing ever could, anyway.

One way Royal Griffins could be better is if they didnt take so much time to tame, then I might consider taming a second. My first one died almost instantly to a pair of Allosaurus when I landed for stam.

How to tame a royal griffin LIKE A PRO

1: buy a chef station.

2: get 10 allo kibble.

3: build a trap that it is 2x8 in length and 6 tall with a dinosaur gate on either side. (Long)

4: Shoot the griffin with a longneck. (Tranq equipped)

5: once aggriessive, get it into the trap.

6: once in the trap, shoot it with the longneck until knocked out. 😵‍💫

7: feed the griffin the 10 allo kibble (there may be one left, you will need bio toxin, narcotics, etc.)

Bam wam kazam! You have a ROYAL griffin! Enjoy!

People say they are hard to tame amagen if it was a passive tame

I trapped and knocked out a griffin with surname ‘i. But i cannot rename for that surname for my character. Can somebody help me pls. I tried varma’i.

I just tamed a lvl 145 griffin on a pvxc server with a 45x soothing balm and it took an Hour and a half at minimum

There are three way to gain respect none of them are easy

1.at least 85~91 level

2.equip a gold crown (on mobile I didn't sure that PC one have gold crown)

3.use your name similar like the griffin name

Example name=

Griffin name=deadera

Your name will be like=Frostera

When taming a griffin, place the trap at the bottom so it's easier to get prime meat, nobody wants to scale up and down the mountain with a flyer multiple times for prime meat if you're using it

He didnt respect me for forgot to put ' on my name this so annyoing they should mak griffins easier to tane

Tame a breeding pair of allosaurus before taming a royal griffin so that it will be easier to tame one I recommend taming a pack of female allos with one male so that the allo kibble can be easily obtained

In mobile it's easy to tame if you have "Tek kibble processer" just kill Griffin and use its implant in tek kibble processer you can get Griffin kibble without breeding them.For 150 lvl it only takes 3 kibble with 10x soothing boom

Its super hard to tame it in mobile but i have very very very osm trick that i recently found

1. Found one

2. Let him chase you

3. Take him to lava mountain in the middle of map

4. Then then leave him alone there for 6-7h( don't trap him caz you can't trap him for 6-7h he will get out of trap anyhow in that period so just let him fly around that mountain , don't worry he will not despawn if you go far from him)

5. Trap him after 6-7h

6. Knock him with tranq dart

7. Give him soothing balm (10x or 15 )

8. Give him kibble or prime meat

9. He will eat it in just 5 seconds because you already made him hungry and you will get a very osm dino

If you want to tame a griffin so first of all you. must have lvl 85 minimum. Before you make it unconscious make sure to sleep after trap it. After knock it out give it shooting balm and then give it allo kibble. Now enjoy your griffin
