Chapter One
Loki spread his gray feathered wings, inhaling deeply as a sharp wind hissed along the ledge he stood upon. His yellow-gold talons flexed, hooked claws leaving small marks in the stone. The green feathers on the underside of his wings glistened slightly.
He blinked his strangely pearlescent green eyes before diving off of the ledge, opening his wings and letting himself be caught in an air current. Tilting himself upward, he soared along until a wider ledge came into view.
With an elegant flourish of his feathered wings, Loki landed on the ledge, causing a heavy THUMP. His sudden landing scared the living daylight out of a pair of dodos.
With a flick of his tail, Loki turned to look at his home.
Griffin Valley. An enormous crack in the earth, creating an enormous series of cliffs. Waterfalls cascaded down multiple cliffs, creating a huge lake in the bottom of the valley. More water poured in along a path that led from the ocean.
Standing on the ledge, Loki could see multiple griffins soaring around, some of them hunting, others lounging in the sun.
“What are you doing up here?” a voice asked.
Loki turned around to see a silver and black griffin standing behind him. She had a few golden flecks on the underside of her wings, gray talons, and pale blue eyes which reminded him of the frothed water at the bottom of the valley.
“Ah, Valkyrie,” Loki greeted. “I wanted to see the view.”
Valkyrie shook her head, a small smile creasing the corners of her mouth. “You know that only the Elders are allowed up here.”
Loki rolled his eyes. Why was Valkyrie always like that? Constantly telling him reasons he couldn’t do things. “Like they’d care,” he said with a flick of his wings. He blinked innocently. “And besides, they never come up here anyways. They’re too old and heavy to make it all the way up here!”
Valkyrie smiled, and then forced herself to scowl. “Don’t say that!” she said. “They might hear you.”
Loki snorted. “They’re all so old, they’re probably all deaf by now. And plus—” Before he could finish, the unmistakeable throaty roar of a giganotosaurus echoed around Griffin Valley.
“A giga? Here?” Panic flared in Valkyrie’s eyes. Loki sprang into the air and followed a group of griffins heading towards the sound, all of them easily ready to slaughter the huge carnivore. He could hear Valkyrie flapping after him.
Loki rounded a corner—or, it was more of a cliff-edge—and collided head-on with the huge, gray-green tail of a giganotosaurus.
So, I’m at the mountain area where they spawn. I have god mode. I get it to 43.5 percent tamed. I accidentally press teleport while coloring my griffon. I get teleported to the other side of the Earth, I request my argy and fly back. It was gone when I came back.
Rip Griffon.
story of Radtir’i........... part 1
Uh ok well (lol sorry). Me and my tribemate was taming a griffin we already tamed a griffin for her so its my turn, my argy died on a first attempt to tame a griffin the first attempt failed because a stupid allo came and killed it in our trap so we had to find another. i told her to just get a random one. she chased the griffin with her griffin and knocked it out, we had nice admins in our server that can lvl and help tame creatures so a min after she knocked it it was tamed and my tribemate gave it to me. I knew this was the start of everything... -WOLF X
They are sooooo annoying to trap. One they aggro on you, they’ll chase you to the end of the world if you’re not fast enough. Not only that, it’s friends that probably don’t respect you will join in and try to kill you. I lost my level 405 pteranodon to these punks because a raptor pack of 12 pounced on me.

Act II: Blizzard
Chapter 14
Corvi saw it happen before it happened, and yet she couldn't stop it from happening. The sounds of crunching bone and spilled blood were sickening, and through it all the Infernal argent was laughing maniacally. She dashed into him, intending to pin him to the ground by the neck, but in midair he spun, flipping so that she was pinned. His talons closed around her neck, starving her of oxygen. Kald tried to come to her aid, but was immediatly pinned by the other two fire argents. "I'm impressed," said the argent looming over her. "Never seen a bird fly and react so fast ... other than me of course." He flashed a vain smile. "I'm Inimicus, second-in-command of Infernal Kin."
Corvi thought, trying to free herself. Everything had started getting fuzzy and if she didn't get out of this soon, she was going to die here. There was a shriek from the sky, causing Inimicus to loosen his grip for a second. It was all Corvi needed to break free. He was about to attack again when a blue and orange blur landed on top of him. "Get out of here," Sundown shouted to her. Corvi staggered to her feet, and flew towards Kald's captors, pulling them off of the commander. He rose fighting. Corvi, still hazy, turned to help Sundown.
She hadn't gotten two steps in before a shadow loomed over her. She looked up, seeing the giant foot of a rex rushing down towards her. She didn't have time to react. She was pushed to the ground, crushed. There was the sound of hundreds of little crunches, and searing pain shot through her chest and abdomen. Her lungs were flattened, and tears forced their way out of her eyes. Just before she thought it was the end, the weight lifted off of her in the shadow disappeared as the rex walked away. Corvi gasped, hardly able to get air into her flattened lungs. Her ribs were in pieces, and she thought one of them had punctured a lung. She tried to call out but couldn't make a sound. The dark fuzziness returned, and this time she couldn't fight it.
["Oh, snap!" - Corvi's ribs]

[Okay, okay! I'm sorry for procrastinating but I've got a break for the holidays now so I have no excuse. However, this chapter and the next are filled with action, so hopefully that makes up for it.]

Act II: Blizzard
Chapter 13
Inimicus led his two scouts to the edge of the tundra. Whitesky Peak was up ahead, along with Kald's flock. Kald's argents were stronger than Fryse's, so their best bet was to attack his mountain first, then go after Winter's Mouth. Inimicus turned to the scouts. "You know what to do," he said. They nodded and took off into the snowy sky. Inimicus looked back at the mountain. Now it was time for him to prove himself, to prove to Ogon that he was worthy of his new position. If only Ira could see this. He winced, picturing the giant green snake in the forest attacking again. It didn't matter what Inimicus gained, he would never be content until he avenged his mate.
But for now, his focus was on eliminating the remainder of Scarlet's Kin. He made a fire, a skill perfected by the argents of Infernal Kin, and lit a long stick before flying towards the mountain's peak. It was peaceful. The sun had barely peeked over the horizon, giving him only a sliver of light to see his victims, sleeping and unaware of the danger over them. He dove suddenly with a loud screech, swiping the torch over the feathers of a few argents. They cried out in fear as the flames traveled down their wings. Everyone was up in seconds. Inimicus smiled, daring them to attack. Only a few argents took off, two of them Fryse and Kald. Inimicus laughed, "Working together now, are we?" The dashed at him and he dove, narrowly avoiding Kald's talons.
He bulleted down the mountain, the argents behind him struggling to keep up. He laughed back at them. Speed was his specialty. His cackling was cut short by a pair of talons sliding down his back, leaving deep gashes. He screamed and looked up. A solid black female argent had caught up to him and was keeping in pace with him perfectly. Inimicus zigzagged through trees, trying and failing to lose her.
"You're good," he shouted over the rushing wind, "But I'm better."
He flew up suddenly, and as the female rose to follow him he dropped, throwing her to the ground. She winced and got back to her feet, taking off after him again.
"You just don't know when to quit," he said with a smile. He looked back, Fryse and Kald weren't far behind. The plan could still work.
Inimicus took off towards the Northern Plains. He didn't have to fly far before he could see what he was looking for: a pair of argents, his scouts, circling over a pair of rexes. He dove for them, screeching out his arrival. The reptiles turned their heads to the sky and opened their jaws, preparing to bite. Inimicus gave himself a short burst of speed, sliding gracefully between the rexes' teeth.
He turned and looked to see if the plan had worked. The female that had been tailing him saw what he was planning. She was moving too fast to stop, but she quickly redirected herself upwards, out of the rexes reach. Kald was moving slow enough to come to a dead stop, but Fryse was moving too fast to stop himself. He tried to fly upward, but couldn't get high enough in time.
There was a loud crunch and blood dripped onto the snow-white ground. Fryse cried out in pain and tried to free himself, but each of the rexes grabbed a wing in its mouth and pulled, ripping him in half. Kald and the female watched in horror.
Inimicus watched in fascinated bliss.
[Yeah I'd gone too long without killing someone hehe...]

Journal entry #7
I don't know what I saw I can only describe what I felt, and what I felt was POWER. It's been a few days since I first had my run in with that specimen it has bested me on countless occasions all attempts to tame the beast have been null and void. Argi, Trex, whole pterodon army's all have fell for to get a simple blurry image of this master piece. Many have died in the process of taming this Griffin and many more will fall in subduing this beast
