They can be really difficult to take if you don’t know how to, so here is what to do.

They are almost impossible to tame if you don’t have a trap, I built a stone trap with a 2x2 base, doorframes and a dino gate. They can’t fit though the doorframes but a pteranodon can, so you lure it inside and shut the gate. Then you wait for night and sleep near the griffin. Once you wake up knock it out and feed it prime meat/allosaur kibble and it takes extremely fast, plus you can feed it a 10x soothing balm to speed it up even more. You should tame a male and female griffin with the exact same surname, then you can breed them and make griffin kibble that tames them even quicker. All of this makes taming a 150 griffin really easy

Gosh it’s not that hard to tame all you do is make a stone trap they cannot break stone are you doing Trank it out use prime meat and a 15% taming thing

This guy is probably the most boring hard to get tame I ever got, they have bad stamina, low damage, and they're wayyy too hard to get (I had to forcetame it in the weird ark mobile way).

So I've created some IDEAS for it that the ark devs will obviously never add because they forgot about mobile (we're just funding the Overseer).

Okay, first of all, they should be tamed sort of like wyverns, rock drakes, and magmasaurs, and they should have their own cave on Far's Peak.

The steps would be as follows:

1. Go in at night and get an egg from a sleeping mother, if the mother is awake or wakes up, it will take the egg it its hands immediately, or will take it from you if you have it in your inventory, same goes for other griffins, which will help steal the egg back, though the egg will not be gone forever, and you can try to get it again.

• Killing the holder of the egg will destroy the egg.

• If you bring in a tame, or if another dino gets in somehow, their sounds and/or footsteps will wake the griffins, so it must be done on foot.

• Some griffins will stay awake and continue spawning on the mountain, so beware of those.

• In the day, the eggs will be in the mother's hands so you cannot get them.

• Eggs will have a visible surname, but the rest of their name is unknown.

2. Upon getting the egg, you run out of the cave, get on your tame and head home.

• Nobody will chase you when you have the egg unless you woke them up, or wake them up upon leaving

3. When home, the surname/crown/level thing comes in handy, once it hatches you'll have to have one of the correct taming requirements (surname, level 100, or crown) before you can feed it, if the requirements are not met, it will not eat and starve to death.

4. Once the requirements are met, you can only feed it prime meat until it grows, where it'll then accept any meat, and you can change the beginning of its name freely (surname stays the same).

Now! Onto abilities (yes there's more).

1. Same dive ability.

2. Ability where other griffins of the same surname will occasionally offer your griffin goods, straight into the inventory (soothing balm, leech blood, potent dust, plant z seeds, or a random decently rare kibble).

• You'll only get one.

• Level of the griffin will affect the rarity of the gift very slightly.

• After a gift, your griffin will get a 1 hour cooldown and be unable to receive any gifts, though other tamed griffins can still get gifts.

3. Everything else will be the same

I hope you liked my ideas, I had a lot of fun making these up, and now I'm kinda sad that they're just ideas… darn.

You know what I don’t get, you need griffin kibble to tame a griffin…. But you can’t make griffin kibble without taming a griffin, that needs griffin kibble, from a griffin???? Honestly Wildcard need to invest some time into Ark Mobile and change the kibble process, would be so much easier with a few drinks for each tier instead of the most convoluted kibble map I’ve ever looked at
