When your taking these guys on Single player I’ll put him in a trap not the one with gates but make one with door frames as walls and put Ceilings and a gate for it can come in and when you have one in there go to sleep two times and than use your 10x balm and tame it up

How to tame a high level griffin with 10x balm

Items needed:

Sleeping bag

High damage flyer or dino (I prefer pteranodon)

10x balm (you can also use 15x for faster tame)

Refrigerator 5x or more

Electric generator

Electric cable

Electric junction box

Gasoline x100 at least

Stone dinosaur gateway 3x

Reinforced dinosaur gate 2x

A good knockout weapon ( longneck, crossbow or compound bow)

First, go to the top of the griffin mountain it is near carno island

Then, build a trap you can search it up on youtube “how to make a griffin trap” after making trap kill the sabertooths, pulmonoscorpius, allos and rexes nearby after that place the electric generator, electric cable and the electric junction box also place the refrigerators near then get on your high dmg flyer or dino and go to redwoods then kill paracers a lot of them make sure to put the raw prime meat in the refrigerator get a lot of prime meat after you have a lot trap the griffin then place the sleeping bag down and sleep. The griffins food will be zero then knock it out, put 10x or 15x balm, place the raw prime meat in its inventory then you have your griffin

Note: the taming effectiveness will be very low if you use raw prime meat.

First tame a pair of 2 lowest level griffin in your difficult then breed them and make griffin kibbles and use them to tame a high lvl one🕶️

1 get a soothing balm 10x or 15x works lvl 40 works

2 get a chef station with mix’s

3 trap your griffin

4 go to sleep

5 knock out when you wake up

6 feed allosaurus kibble with balm :>

But if godconcel 3x boost from shop and lvl it up

Anyone please tell me how to get allo kibble faster please, I've fed a lvl 20 Griffin so much raw prime and it still tames up extremely slow, even with 10x soothing balm

You need a 15x balm and a giga to kill alphas

IMPORTANT TIP!!!

If your planning on breeding griffins, they need to have the same ending for example:

Daelimir

And

Dorthamir

As they both end in ‘mir’

SECOND TIP!!!

Once hatched, the baby won’t eat with the mother being around!!! I lost a baby griffin to this! The only good thing about this is people can’t steal your fertilised griffin egg because it will die- so yay?

THIRD TIP!!!

from my experience the baby griffin can only accept 4 pieces of meat. This might just be a glitch in my behalf, but just incase I thought you should know. Therefore, your baby griffin might go hungry if your not careful! But don’t worry, eat doesn’t eat a lot!

If the royal griffin doesn’t respect you when you want to tamed it is because you have to change your name with the initials of the griffin or just call yourself the same name of the griffin and then it will respect you , hope this tip will helped you guys I struggled myself to know this so I want to share this with you

They have to have the last two letters the same to breed

R. Griffins are the ark mobile version of griffins and from what I know they spawn on the left upper corner mountain (out of the snow zone)

Overall, this is a good mount. i tamed one with my friend after i bought a gold crown. i bought the primal pass (which, i dont recommend because when your subscription runs out you cant use the crown until your level 85, resulting in you being unable to use the griffin as well.) to get early access and surprise my friends, tthough i ended up neding assistance. It took a lot of prime meat. I bought the x15 boost and it brought up the taming efficiency from 0.3% /prime to ~4.5% /prime. it took about.. maybe ~150 biotoxin if i had to guess.

After a lot of deaths from a giga, alpha rex, and being ganged up on by every swamp dino, we finally tamed a pretty level 5 griffin. Its most efficient to tame these with some of your tribemates helping! While i was off getting prime meat from paracers my friend kept an eye on the griffs torpor, got biotoxin, and lured away dangers. I helped with that where i could, too.

About this mount’s abilities, i think this might be the best flier ive used so far. The stamina is crap, but if you put all of your levels into it it helps. The griffin also has a neat diving ability, so if you fly up really high and then fly down you pick up a lot of speed and i think this makes up for the stamina. It also flies backwards and to the sides which is also useful.

Along the way to tame our griffin, Ioys, we died in the swamp and lost one of our beloved argies. #PrayForZabi our first argy of the server we miss you 🙏

Tame 2 low level pair with the same surname as for example

VertirNA notice the na its the surname they must have the same breed them and make griffin kibble with the egg you get then you can use that to tame a better level griffin

What i did is set more than 1000 prime meat in the reserving bin and set my base there knock it out somewhere save and fed some prime meat each tiem but still takes quite sometime its atleast better than knocking it out everywhere and needing to get back to base and get meat

When you are taming a Griffen (level 1-10) make sure you have a major soothing balm and a crap ton of raw prime meat and about 200 bio toxin and also make sure you have a Rex to protect it because a alpha t Rex decided to spawn in front of me

It said to bring 25 meat... I did and it wasn’t even close to enough... bring TONS of meat

I tamed a level 24 Griffin called Tyora (Male), it took me about 200+ narcotics and 15 allosaurus kibbles by using x10 soothing balm. First bar progress was around 12% but it went lower and lower to 6%, so, to be safe - I recommend bringing more than what I mentioned.
