The Roll Rat is an excellent gatherer, especially for wood, fungal wood, berries, mushrooms, and seeds; leaving it wandering near accessible resource nodes can let it gather automatically. Wild Roll Rats dig up gems that can be collected, while tamed ones provide fast rolling mobility and strong collision attacks, though they are poor swimmers and their saddles wear down with use.
