Who else thinks they should gather gems when tamed?

Ark needs to changes the fact that you have to eat something to activate it in your hands when trying to tame passive creatures

Why not one said anything about gem farming?.. they were good when wild brings out gem from ground but after tame they forgot of digging and gems.
