Chapter 9
- The Nazgûl
The armies faced each other. One side in on the wall defending their base with some one hundred and fifty troops, the other side stretching out across the hills with some one thousand troops. Everyone stood stock still. Swords drawn, arrows back, shields up. It was also dead silent. Then a soldier in the corrupted army fell. It looked like a high ranking officer. Spark realized Alex had shot him. The corrupted army charged. They immediately started to break the wall. Spark was ready to order a retreat to their main military asset, their fortress in the bioluminescent zone. The wall broke. “Retreat!” Spark yelled. The soldiers ran back through the base. Several soldiers had fallen, but not many. Spark led them through the portal zone. Alex took the rear of the group and fired arrows off at the enemy hoards. As they neared the bridge that crossed over the river, Spark told everyone to get ready with their gliders. They jumped the gap and began the glide to their fortress. The enemy had to go back around and down the river to get into the bioluminescent zone. Spark’s army had time to prepare.
Chapter 8 (couldn’t help myself. Just had to write chapter 8.)
- The Nazgûl
Spark had declared war on Bart. As the enemy came into view down the river, Spark gave a speech. “The war has begun. Soon, the first battle will commence. We may win, we may loose. Some may live, some may fall. Some may hide, some may fight. One thing is certain, if we win this war, our lives will be forever changed. Some don’t recover from the tragedies of war. War is such a cruel, bloody, devastating thing. The ironic part is we are all fighting for the same thing. Peace. The only difference is our enemy wishes for peace through terror. That is not true peace. Peace does not involve fear. It involves courage. We are outnumbered greatly. But strength does not win battles. Not strength in numbers, not physical strength, not strength of the mind. Courage wins battles. So today we fight with courage. Let’s show them what we’re made of!”
I don’t know why I’m writing this but here goes...
Rockwell holds a position like the King Titan in the Element hierarchy, he doesn’t serve the King and in Genesis controls the Corrupted avatars

They were taking good care of the dodo while the others were fighting all sorts of dinos. Eventually everyone got tired of fighting over and over so they charged and stomped on any Dino in their way. That’s when they realised that they needed to kill moeder. The army split up

Now that you know what I am talking about, so we can start with chapter one and two.
Talons of War
A Hidden World
Chapter one: Inside the Clan
Nix blinked his eyes open against the bright white summer sun. Though, even though it was summer, snow flakes fell here and there and the ice never melted across the territory.
He looked around the Nursery. Being a NewFur was annoying; he couldn't even get into the camp!
Nix nudged his sister, Sejuk. His mother was snoring loudly next to Feaos and her NewFurs.
"Ugh," Sejuk grumbled, shuffling. "What do you wannnt?"
"Come on! Let's play with Feaos's NewFurs! They're almost YoungFurs.." Nix trailed off.
"Okay!" Sejuk stood up. "Huai! Oakia!" she called to the two sisters.
Behind Feaos, Huai and Oakia jumped up and bounced happily. "We're going to be YoungFurs today!" Oakia sang. Huai nodded and raced around the spacious area.
Suddenly, Nix heard odd sounds. He didn't pay much attention to it, but as he played, he realized it was coming from behind the Nursery.
"I don't wanna be the DrakeFeather this time!" Sejuk whined. "You were it last time!"
"No, she was!" Oakia pointed at her sister innocently.
Huai shook her head instantly. "What? No I wasn't-"
"Calm down," grumbled Jaaika, Nix's mother. "Some of us are trying to sleep."
"Hey, do you hear that?" Nix whispered, glancing occasionally at the little crack in the wall, just big enough for a small managarmr.
"Yeah, I do!" whispered Sejuk. She wriggled through the gap.
"I'm coming!" Nix called. His spine scraped against the tight woven bracken used for the Nursery walls.
He suddenly felt a change of the comforting chill of the Nursery to a hard, strict cold. Puffing out his fur, he raced after Sejuk into a frosted bush.
One of the managarmrs - Nix didn't know his name yet - led a female creature out of a tunnel. It was very strange; it looked like the description of a FireClaw, but it was green and had fins all over her body.
The managarmr jerked up. "Who's out there?"
A Hidden World
Chapter 2: Rock Cavern
Zahra stretched her long, feathered talons. The rockdrakes, or Drakefeathers, scattered for their jobs and such around her. She walked out of the TrainingFeather den and growled at the sweltering heat.
Summer is the worst, she thought.
Her trainer, Crookjaw, who had a crooked jaw at birth, strolled over to her from the prey pile. He flexed his bright white talons, stained by grass.
"Alright, Zahra," he yawned. "We're going to patrol the southeast border with Kaiiha and Laok."
Kaiiha was one of the patrollers, or guards, as they are frequently called. Laok was her student. But when training for a warrior, the frontline fighters and deep-foilage hunting, Zahra was faced with having to patrol borders, as well, to keep her strength up.
Zahra and Crookjaw came to the pair at the rock tunnel. "Let's go," Kaiiha twisted around and pushed through the small vines wrapping around the rocks above them.
They padded through the softer grasses under the huge, dirt structures above them, twisting around in many ways that make it available to climb. Soon, though, the brush was getting thicker and darker colored, some plants were actually blue, at this point.
Zahra sniffed. "Yuck! What is that awful smell?"
Crookjaw let out a muffled laugh. "I forgot you're new," he explained. "We're at the border with the Blackclaws, the reapers, and their acid stinks up the border! We have to make more markers, though."
Kaiiha nodded to her student. Laok brushed the tip of her tail to the border, and Zahra could see some kind of strange white mist flow out of the tips of the biggest feathers.
After patrolling all across the south-east border, Zahra smelled an even stranger smell than the Blackclaws in her nest. She searched it and annoyed a few of the other trainingfeathers, but she found something she wished she never had.

Chapter 17
- The Nazgûl
Alex had made it to the top. Using the other arrow she had tied into the rope as a place to stand, Alex had a perfect view of the ropes for the catapults. She notched an arrow and took aim.
——————————————————————————————————
“Sir, the catapults are ready.”
“Fire at will.”
Just then an arrow came sailing into the ground next to Bart’s foot leaving a severed rope on the catapult.
“Find the archer! We cannot lose these catapults.”
Within a two more shots Alex had been spotted.
“Focus all arrows on the archer!”
——————————————————————————————————
Alex began swinging the rope around so they couldn’t hit her. Notching another arrow she fired and took out the first catapult. Three more catapults to go. Each had four ropes that had to be taken out. That left 12 ropes. Alex had 5 arrows left. After firing a few more shots, she was forced to get more arrows. Instead of descending the rope, she simply began catching her foes arrows.
——————————————————————————————————
Bart realized his soldiers own arrows were flying back. ‘Their out of arrows’ he thought.
“Cease fire!”
There was one catapult left. Two ropes left on it. Bart smirked beneath his helmet.
——————————————————————————————————
Alex had caught one last arrow. She took careful aim. The arrow sped off. Both ropes were severed. The catapults were down, and the enemies troops were thinning. She went down to join Spark and Jennifer in the fight.
Chapter 14
- The Nazgûl
Alex and her men were holding up. Alex had not ordered a wall built because it was simply a disadvantage. If they knocked down the wall, pieces could hit people. They also could not really hit enemies that well through a wall. More and more forces were coming into the elemental region. Alex was fighting when she saw it. Catapults. Their own catapults. Stolen by the enemy to use down here. She realized they would have to fall back. As they ran, the enemy just slowly marched after them. Clearly, to overwhelm Alex and her forces was not the plan. They fired of an arrow every once and a while or hurled stones. When they neared the end of the tunnel, they stopped. The men were tired from the long run and fighting. She saw terror in their eyes. She stood up.
“Everyone. The enemy draws near. All hope may seem lost, but we still have hope. We always have hope. I see terror in your eyes. Like Spark said, the enemy confuses peace with terror. If you are filled with terror, then the enemy has already won. We may be weary. We may be making our last stand. But fear will not take the hearts of us. Courage wins battles, and every single one of you alone has a thousand times more courage then their entire army. Our fellow soldiers, our friends, are pinned down in their, and they need us to help. But we can’t be cowards and run from it. When we charge in their, give your loudest shout. The enemy wishes to put fear into us, let’s put fear into them. Make it sound as if all the armies in the world are coming after them. Are you with me? I said are you with me!? Then charge!”
Chapter 12(Chapters will come out rapidly. Want to get the extinction sequel out and start the genesis sequel before genesis 2 comes out.
- The Nazgûl
Spark and Alex talked as they walked. Alex spoke first.
“What do you think will happen next?”
“I don’t know. If we win this fight, we might be able to return to earth. But I can’t stop thinking about the fact that I am allowing us to be cornered. I could be leading us to our demise.”
“Don’t talk like that. Every military move I have ever seen you make was risky, but it worked. Like on Ragnarok when we charged straight through enemy territory. That worked out.”
“Yeah. But we had a way of escape. This time we don’t. We either do or die.”
“That is how it always has been Spark.”
“How do you do it?”
“Do what?”
“Keep a positive attitude and be fearless. Somehow, you rally everyone and win fights that are impossible. Like when we took Viking Bay. We lost so many, yet you, the least likely person to see stand up and charge out there, rally everyone and charge out and win against impossible odds. How do you do it Alex?”
“Spark, fear is our enemy. We lose when fear takes hold of us. I rallied them because they were hopeless. There is always hope and to see someone still ready to fight; that is enough hope for them. Sometimes you only need the slightest spark to start a wildfire of courage. Isn’t that why you chose your name? Jenny chose you for a reason. You will lead us to victory. I know it. Just don’t let fear take hold of you.”
“What would I do without you?”
“Nothing. You would be lost.”
“Hey!”
“Just messing with you. You know me. We both fight better when we feel happy and competitive.”
“Anything else you want to tell me before we prepare for battle?”
“I get the long tunnel.”
“Alright. Let’s get ready to make our last stand.”
Chapter 7
- The Nazgûl
As everyone grieved, Spark reported his findings to Jenny. “I think our issue is that the ark is malfunctioning. The animals are disappearing, there is now radiation down below, however, the glow of the metal structures is getting brighter. I don’t know what caused the malfunction, but it could be element. The increased amounts further down stop other animals from going down there, but I have no evidence of where all the extra element is coming from.” “Jason told me that the soldiers that attacked him were coated in it. Not like armor, but like it grew on them,” Jenny said. “That would explain it. We need to defeat them. If we get rid of them, the element levels will be stable again. Besides, they killed our chief,” said Spark. “I think you should be our new chieftain. You found the issue,” Jenny said excitedly. “I will accept the position of military commander. That is what we need right now,” Spark said. “Then prepare for battle Commander Spark.”
Chapter 6
- The Nazgûl
Spark listened as the scout told his story while Jennifer bandaged him up.
“We went up river to see if we could find a lake.” He said. “We did. But on the lake was a large settlement. We were going to get in closer when one of the inhabitants jumped us. Being outnumbered 5 to 1, we captured him. All we were able to get out of him before his friends arrived was that his leader was King Bart, king of the ark. A look of terror crossed Jason’s face and that’s when it happened. 6 more came out of hiding. They wounded the chief and stabbed me in the leg. They killed the rest but let me go, knowing that we could bring fear to our tribe.” “Well, you’re all patched up and should be ready to fight soon” said Jennifer. At that moment, Jenny, who was very old by now, came out of the sickbay. “Jason has died” she said.
