For you guys that are wondering, yes, this is the same Rockwell from the explorer notes. He injected himself with liquid element after becoming obsessed with element, and transformed into the hideous thing he is now.

Considering he’s a boss, there’s not much utility to him, other than getting bonus levels from Aberrant Ascensions.

Though if you think about it, Rockwell (before at least) had a ton of utility. He made all of the cooking recipes (as suggested by the Rockwell notes that are somehow everywhere), and it’s heavily implied that he made a good portion of the technology available to you in Aberration.

Still, what a sad and twisted way to go for probably my favourite character in all of ARK: Survival Evolved’s storyline.

For you people saying you should be able to cure Rockwell and then he should help around the base if you knew almost anything about Ark survival you would know that Rockwell did that to himself he's happy the way he is so that's like saying I'm gonna cure spider man of his powers and then he should thank me this a classic case of the villain gave him self powers!

If you want to kill this thing on pc then go to the settings and turn on admin logging and creative and log in go to the menu by pressing esc press enable creative mode and then press esc again then boom your invincible and also you can do admin commands too just like gfi raw meat 100 1 0

To be honest I believe that the reason Rockwell injected element into himself was because he was scared and paranoid that other scientists like Helena and wanted to prove himself better it's kinda sad either way

When you defeat the alpha and unlock the tek cloning chamber craft and transfer to genises as it very useful there and element shards are super easy to get useing a mining drill in the magmasaur cave.

Can be defeated on foot. You need a pump shotgun with 230% damage roughly, 400-500 bullets and most importantly cactus broth to make sure no wild creatures attack you
