Appearance: a large lizard-like reptile with huge iridescent feathers on its front legs, tail and head, with bat-wing like ears similar to its distant relative the glowtail, drakes come in many colours, So far I've seen green and orange, red and blue, black and purple and a strange pale shade of green a bit like a very pale poison wyvern. Size: enormous, similar in length to a paraceratherium, around five meters tall, and possibly up to fifteen meters in length. Uses: it's not really a question of "what uses does it have?" It's more a question of "what uses doesn't it have?" Rock drakes can glide vast distances, climb vertically and even upside-down on almost any surface, warn of a nearby reaper with the glowing tips of its feathers, is decent in general combat and can wear plasma-shooting Tek saddles, camouflage making themselves nearly invisible even too other drakes, and glide away or climb a wall if the fight isn't going their way.

You need nameless venom to raise baby rock drakes nobody said this so yea donโt make the stupid mistake I did up dog to let people see
Climbs like a megalania, glides like a sugar glider, dives like a griffon without the landing damage, and turns invisible, did I mention it has a tech saddle u can shoot while invisible and gliding?
How to grow one without nameless venom: you use snow owl. Every time the rock drake gets low, just heal it with the snow owl. And if the torpor because of starvation gets too high, then feed it stimulants. ๐ good luck with your drake
If their head feathers go up that means a reaper is nearby keep that in mind while roaming around
To all the people who keep hoping the developers will see their tips, it might be more effective to put them in reviews or emails directly to the ark companies
If you're of fjordur and need nameless venom check the aberration cave next to the island close to wyvern creek/magmasour cave it has yellow rocks in there that drop nameless venom

For everyone whining about how this needs to be in Valguero, it was originally the case. Thatโs why they added the irradiated/luminous area into The Emerald Forest, as they were planning on adding the rock drakes and their nests into it. While I do know that, Iโm not sure why they discarded actually adding the rock drakes... more than likely a time constraint or because โdrakes didnโt fit Valgueroโs map.

Tamed drakes CAN break thatch and wood, just not stone (Not sure about adobe)
