To continue from my previous formula of food x 10 or 45 ÷ 60 ÷ 60 one venom replenishes 400 food. At ~18% OF TOTAL FOOD is when my rock drake ate, for me this was 846/4800 but i read it would eat at 10%. Here's a simple formula to find when yours will eat based on 18% : (max food) x 0.18 = eat.

Raise your rock drakes on fjordur, there's easy access to nameless venom rocks in a small ab cave. Use an axe or a doedicurus

You need a LOT of air conditioners

Or use a incubator

Breeding is now out for these. Also the best way to get eggs is a Managarmr and mushroom brews. Just bounce around down there from nest to nest. Make sure to leave render distance to reset the egg spawn and also to lose the aggro on the drakes losing their mind after you steal the egg

If your new to the rock drake in the wild before you anger them they will be this outline of a blurry dragon thing and they only spawn in the radioactive ☢️ zone make sure you have a megalosaurus or something like that most likely if it’s a mammal it takes radioactive damage if it’s a reptile it will most likely do the opposite of a mammal

Rock Drakes will not Attack a tamed Rock Drake unless someone is on it

If you Aim your mouse at surfaces it will show up a blue reticle, pressing left click with charge-glide you towards it. You can use this in any direction, including dive bombing on a creature. If you time your glide arcs, aim straight up, charge-glide and cancel midway you can gain more altitude and continue flying virtually indefinitely (Stam).

Use a andrewsarchus so you don’t take any rad damage on fjordur map.But I rather you have your andrew health at about 15k BUT USE THE SADDLE!!!

You will need a ridiculas amount of a.c. conditioners to hatch the egg. I was suffering and almost lost the egg to the spoil timer

IT IS ON FJORDUR!!!!!!!! LIKE SO OTHERS KNOW but don't know if there are nameless or if you get eggs hope so😃

nobodys mentioned it but on extinction when you kill a corrupted drake theres a chance they drop a drake egg.

Don't be scared to venture into the red it takes patience and a good route out p.s. Don't Bring Your ravager their useless on official servers for getting the eggs

They spawn in green zone aberration one killed all my tames and me

I use these guys to steal wyvern eggs you may take some damage so pump health a Stam. And use a wipe to pick up the egg.

When you get your first rock drake pump a lot of points in weight and stamina and it will be easy to get more drakes XD

On fjordur, me and my friend used two andrewsarchus’. Both had a minimum of 20k health and 500 melee. We lost half health each but killed every last one and stole every egg.

Go down to blue to hatch and place 20 air conditioners. Then just grab venom on the go whilst getting metal for your industrial forge

Use a Doedicurus harvest nameless venom from the cave on fjordur to make raising a breeze

BABIES--

Who ever said baby drakes lose 15 food a minute is mad. They lose 5 per minute so take their food amount (let's say 600 for easy math) and divide it by 5. You get 120, then divide that by 60 (minutes) and you'll get 2. In this example you have 2 hours until they need food. Every 500 food is 2 hours so if you're in the thousands you've got plenty of time. Don't waste time getting venom until they're super low because it spoils VERY fast. When you do, use a doed to get lots from the orange rocks in fjordur abb cave, and use a stack of preserving salt (in maewing or its inventory, NOT trough) to get a boost on the amount of time the venom is good for. They are REALLY easy to raise.
