Utility Tips

What is a rhyniognatha used for? rhyniognatha battling strategies in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
You can fire from its back to tame pretty much any creature and it is remarkably easy to control when you are riding and weilding a weapon. Any dino that is too hard to hit while shooting from this thing's back can be picked up and put into a taming pen or frozen with resign thus making this the ultamate taming mount. If you get off of it and whistle for it to follow you it won't land and you can sit in its passenger seat. This allows it to regen stamina whist in the air. It is the only flyer you can do this with without anything to keep you in the air. There is a glitch that can occour that causes the player to exit tames in third person. This can happen when you land on any vertical surface whilst in third person. It can be reversed by landing on any vertical surface again but this time in first person. These guys have one weakness. If a megatherium kills just one other bug with the bug buff already active a wild level 12 can deal 826 damage while your level 66 rhynio will only deal 44.
RIP. Vjordic
Although you can't breed them you can still get the color mutations like any other tame. Trap a few rhynios and reuse them until you get the colors you want.
It can pick up 2 medium sized dinosaurs such as rex's and plesio's can attack several enemies at once with all 6 of it's legs and it's head also it can continue holding the dinosaurs while swimming and flying which leads me to suspect that it is the size of a quetzal or as big maybe even bigger than a wyvern it will also cause bleeding and can pick up 2 enemies as well as attacking and pushing several enemies it's wings have a specific pattern representing the eyes of a tusoteuthis which makes it so that you are not attacked while underwater and while sprinting it can not be grabbed by a tusoteuthis.
Description: A very resilient and loyal creature when attacking your target, but difficult to manage due to its size. It has limited stamina that drains quickly, which is inconvenient during combat while utilizing its expert flyer abilities, forcing the creature to land abruptly and take enemy attacks.Tip: When riding with a saddle, never dismount while flying high up in the air because it will be difficult to recover once you fall to the ground.
I know for a fact that they can pick up structures on Ark mobile you just have to turn on resin armor toggle third person so you can look through the players eyes towards the structure you wanna pick up and then use the pickup function the rhynio has and you will lift the structure putting it down somewhere is can be a bit wonky but at least it works
HERE ME OUT, HERE ME OUT. I think this was not talked much BUT.. BUT, it can pickup a frigging structure (e.g. industrial forge, platforms, vaults etc., you get the gist). Just have some resin ready in your rhynios inventory. It will consume some while picking structures. This saved me a lot of resources from demolishing and recrafting them!!
Steps to use this for raids
. Get a platform racer
. Pump health and weight into the racer
. build turrets and place as many seats as you can on the racer
. Get everyone on the seats
. Go to the enemy base
. Shoot at enemy base
. Steal from enemy base
. Fly away from enemy base
. Get back to your base and look at the loot
Now for the second option
. Get some really tanky tames like a tek stegos
. Put tones of c4s on the stegos
. Fly over to the enemy base
. Drop the stego
. When the stego lands use the c4s
. If it was a fail go to the other stegos and use one of them
. Drop that stego
. It was a a success
. Take loot
. fly back to base
. Loot at loot
Third option
. Tame tones of tek rexes
. Put tek saddles on tek rexes
. Get on a rhynio
. Pick up a Rex
. fly over to the enemy base drop the rex
. go back for the others and repeat
. Do pvp stuff to get in the base
. Ransack the base
. fly back to your base
. Look at the loot
I personally think the best one is number 2 but if it’s a fight outside a base for what ever reason number 1 is the best!
