How to tame a rhyniognatha (rh for short)

Step 1 go to spawn location with a large tame and a argy.

Step 2 find and kill a male and take its rh pheromone

Step 3 find a female and lower it to less than 10% health but do not kill it.

Step 4 feed the rh pheromone to your Dino (I used a bronto and it works great) and it will make it pregnant and fly away.

Step 5 your Dino will go through TONS of food when pregnant with the rh so bring lots of food. Your Dino will also lose health over time until it reaches zero and gives birth to the rh. Your Dino will also ask for cravings those are not required but do increase its level when born.

Step 6 once born wait until it matures and then enjoy the gigs of the sky!

Pro tip: when chased by a rh on a flyer tame do not fly straight fly in an unpredictable way to avoid its ranged attack that will make your Dino unable to move.

I just finished taming one and apparently the impregnated Dino’s health drops 1-2 points every second so my trike went from 800 or so health to 1 hp when the timer was over make sure that your Dino has a bunch of health when they are impregnated and make sure to heal them using med brews or a snow owl.

I feel bad about my brontosaurus i just use it for nothing instead of petting a rhyniognatha

These guys are very hard to control because they have high mobility and strong damage. So to make it easier, I will shoot them with tranq arrow until unconscious and then place 3x dinosaur gate to trap (note:place the gate Infront, back and side one gate on each side). Make sure the gates are close to each other. When it gets conscious, just shoot with shotgun and simple pistol you can also use slingshot for a lower damage. For the host, I prefer to use diplodocus because it has a lot of hp and easy to keep it safe. 📌 It will take quite long time for rhyniognatha to get conscious. Hope this helps, enjoy the game.

For different kibbles the host requests you can use extraordinary kibble, since it works like normal taming with higher tiers of kibble counting for lower ones.

Can someone please tell me what I did wrong, i did everything that was correct pretty much, but when the timer came to an end, the rhynognathia baby didn't come out of my dinos corpse instead my tame just died

Found on the island and Lost island ,in swamp just above tree line near Green ob , kill males or low levels for fearmone feed to your tame (it will die when baby hatches ) find female to lay egg on tame attack female till 10 % life left , let her attack tame to lay eggs she will fly away , tame gets cravings when eggs are on it DO NOT CRYO the tame it will KILL the eggs

If you face him try to get close to other dinos he will attack then if he didn’t get on the floor (while your flying) and sometimes he will not attack you if he attacked you gg to your (pt or argy)

Theri CANNOT eat the pheromones just FYI

My first brontod craving were - gasoline, achitina paste, 2 fria curry.

My second brontos carving were. - 2 carcha eggs, 1 exceptional kibble, ammonite bile, caline stew.

I think the craving matters for good stats.

Don’t forget to bring your bronto!

You can use a net attachment on the harpoon and a magnifying glass to keep an eye on its health, noting it gives you up to 30secs, a dire wolf could also work, but the other option is much cheaper, be sure to have decent weapons to chip it health down below 10% like you'd do with the Reaper Queens

I never tamed one but a good way to tame it is to shoot a chain bolla at it and then you can just trap it in stone gate ways and let your firearms do the rest.Once it’s low bolla it again let it free,use a brontosaurus and make it eat the pheromone then it should impregnate your brontosaurus.Recommend killing it after because sometimes it comes back for you.

So what you wanna do is kill a male or something and then get its pheromone and put it in like a big dinosaur and then a female Rhyniognatha will lay a egg inside that dino with the pheromone and the baby will burst out of the dino (and yeah ur dino is dead you no longer have it) and you have to raise and take care of the baby Rhyniognatha.
