They are on the island in the swamps. Hard to find, pretty easy to kill. Kill one take the pheromone, feed in to your dino. Shoot bug with net gun , get health below 10%. Bug will impregnate your dino. Bug must be female.After gestation it will hatch , your dino will die. Claim baby. Good luck.

Figured this out in singleplayer while in creative: To get one, you have to find another Rhynio, kill it for it's Pheromone, find the female, get it down to 10% health, and then feed the Pheromone to a creature you want to sacrifice, I tested this on a Trike and it worked. It only seems to do the impregnate move when it flies up to start shooting it's projectiles at you. This was done with a player spawned Rhynio rather than a map spawned. Your impregnated dino will then get "Cravings" which act like baby imprints. So far I've gotten feeding the trike kibbles, it seems like you can use a kibble above to also satiate it(asked for superior, accepted exceptional, have no idea if this affects the quality of the baby). Also has "Host Size Quality" and "Egg Quality" on the impregnated creature, however I don't know how these affect it at the moment. Discovered all of this on my own by using clues from the description of the Rhynio Pheromone and remembering how Reaper Queens work.

Wild card just released the size of the rhynio and its body is around the same height of your survivor, about 2 and a half survivors in length, around 2 and a half survivors in wing length and 1 survivor and a quarter for claw length and the antennas the same size of the claws roughly. Just saying the size comparison to the survivor I just did isn’t spot on accurate but it’s roughly what the image shows. So because of its size I think it’s safe to say that it won’t be picking rexes or being the sky giga a lot of us wanted. To be honest though I’m really happy with the size of it and hope you are satisfied too :).

This was the creature I wanted in the game the least but I guess now to think of it the rhynio would look pretty cool in game so there is that :)

to all brokie/newbie that want one rhyniognatha but don't have materials for craving or a good dino here's what u need to do:

firstly get a bronto. ask my why well cuz it's the easiest tame that could stand a chance against a low level rhynio

secondly get a bronto saddle or platform saddle if u want to keep ur bronto later on

thirdly level ur bronto to minimum lvl 40 max NA by mass gathering berries(note that rhynio saddle unlocks at lvl 90 so while ur leveling up ur bronto use the nacroberry ur bronto collect to make some narcotic with rotten meat) and level all their stats in damage and health

fourthly kill a LOW lvl male rhynio for pheromone

lastly get the pheromone and the creature ur gonna sacrifice(if u got ur bronto a platform saddle then get a trike on the platform saddle) and walk up to a female rhynio, battle it until its has less then 10% health then quickly go ride ur sacrifice dino and feed it the pheromone the female will then impregnate ur dino and fly away and whola u got urself an rhynio(btw if u wanna lvl it up quickly, get a saddle and find explorer notes as long as u discover the explorer note while riding ur rhynio it will give the exp to ur rhynio instead of u)

The big WILL NOT impregnate Tek Creatures 👍🏾

Its hella easy to kill just use a pump shotgun, however they r hell in the early game so avoid them until u have an easy way to deal a crap ton of damage

Level 82 is highest level you can clone on official without going over clone storage space for shards

Me and a buddy knocked one out and beat it up until under about 100 health! As soon as it woke up we fed our bronto the pheromone and it attacked it just as it should! The only take away from this for me was the torp time lol BOY it took a while for this bug to wake up!

The Bronto craving was crazy because as soon as the first one came it asked for a Quetzal egg 😂! That craving stayed on 0% until the lil joker came out lol

Should probably bring a magnifying glass just in case so you can see it's health while biting is so don't accidentally kill, similar to reaper. Good luck!

First get a harpoon gun with the net projectile. Find a rhyniognatha, preferably a low level, and kill it. Take the pheromone to use on your large dino. Find another rhyniognatha and shoot it with the net. Using a magnifying glass and your sword, get the health really low, get on your dino and use the pheromone in the large dinos inventory. Wait a bit and your dino will get infected with the rhyniognatha’s larvae.

Tamed just like the reaper the best creature for pregnant dragway matters is the best Gigantosaurus you have and carcharodontosaurus the cravings or requires black pearls element substrate, gasoline Quetzel, eggs, giga, eggs carcharodontosaurus, eggs and golden aspirin eggs kibbles veggies, sweet cakes soups bottled tartare shadow steak

If you find a female, MAKE SURE YOU KILL ANY PARACERS IN THE AREA, I lost THREE female Rhyniognathas to them so make sure you eradicate any paracers and other threats before attempting to get your dino impregnated with the rhynio egg.

The rhynio level matters i usually go for 145 or 150 female.

Only male drop there pheromones so always make sure you kill al of them and stock them up for when you find the high level female.

The base stat of ur dinos dont matter its all about the mutations on 1x official we use the paracer or rexes for high hp sinds they have 50 or more mutations in hp my rhynio after 5 cravings pops as a 12- 15k hp baby

For weight bugs to farm with we use brontos sinds they have more weight mutations.

Any dino other than paracer ,rex or bronto is a waste of a tame and rhynio.

Guys i repeat when your dino gets impregnated it eats every milsecond prepare load and loads of food for your tame also stay next to it cuz sometimes you have to force feed it
