Hi I posted a tip a while ago saying this won’t likely pick rexes but wildcard just posted a picture of the rhynio picking a Rex. Also the size of the rhynio seems to be way bigger than the last post that wild card posted of it. I sent a tip saying the rough size of the rhynio but that is wrong now so don’t pay any attention to that. I also wonder if this can pick rexes would that mean the quetzal might in ASA because wild card like to size things up ALOT like they did which the rhynio and many other creatures so they could change the size of a good few creatures for ASA but that’s unlikely In my opinion. I just want to point out something that could happen. Also since they made the rhynio capable of picking rexes it could maybe pick from the water even though when an aquatic leaves the water it dies but in ASA that may not be the case and maybe instead of the aquatic dieing when it leaves the water it’s oxygen drains then it takes damage and if it’s a mammal or a reptile that inhabits the sea it will lose thirst and sort of dry out (REMEMBER the whole drying out and oxygen draining thing for aquatics/semi aquatics is just something I thought of so it will maybe not be a thing ever in ark)

I’m honestly really excited for the rhynio to release now and hope you are to.

If you have to tame a high level having a low level try using your own rhyniognatha. Feed him the pheromone and then make it get impregnate from a high level female rhyniognatha.

how you will tame first find a male kill it you have the phemon or whatever it’s called find a female and hit it until it’s at 10% health take your Dino and feed it the phemon once your Dino’s inpragnated I can’t spell sory it’s feedings will be random BOOM 🤯 now ya have it

Guide using personal experience.

Prior to tame:

-tamed a 180 bronto and leveled it to 309

-Got a good saddle for it so it didn’t die in the battle with rhynio.

Ready for tame

-killed male for pheromone (DO NOT USE THIS IN YOUR DINOS INVENTORY UNTIL YOU HAVE A FEMALE CLOSE AND YOU’RE READY. I made this mistake and didn’t get the female low health quick enough, pretty sure the pheromone only lasts like five minutes once activated in Dino’s inventory.)

-found level 145 female rhynio, kited back to my bronto in a safe space with a pteranodon (lvl 300+ ptera with asc saddle), activated the pheromone in the brontos inventory and then watched the damage I did (shooting with an ascendant pistol) until it started showing signs of damage (green substance like other bugs). At this point I mounted bronto and just periodically hit with tail swipe until the impregnating was complete (showed a larvae symbol with green check in top right of screen while riding bronto)then killed rhynio and took bronto home to base and filled with tons of berries as they go through a lot of food.

-Completed all five cravings for the impregnated bronto (they were focal chilli, enduro stew, wooly rhino horn, gasoline, wooly rhino horn again.)

-Juvenile rhynio popped out at level 181.

-Whistled follow to a safe spot at base and just imprinted like a normal Dino until raised. (Make sure you have feeding trough or meat in its inventory so it doesn’t starve)

Looks like this might be the final creature in ark 1 i have no doubts wild card will spend a lot of time making this one good.

Step by step process to tame the hellfly 1 tame a diplo 2 level everything into health 3 go to the swamp with your diplo 4 find a male hellfly and kill it 5 take the pheromone 6 go around the hellfly nest (the area where the redwoods, swamp and red island {the island with the red obelisk is} are closest) and just almost kill all hellflys and hope that one is a female and it impregnates the diplo 7 enjoy your new hellfly

BTW I haven’t tested this hopefully it works

Not hating on the guy that had this idea but realistically saying these guys are has big has you hand or possibly bigger than your hand but they aren’t that large but these are pretty good I have a few myself

After killing a low level rhynio and taking its pheromones find the level rhynio you desire take a creature out and after getting the rhynio to low health have the creature eat the pharamones and wait about a minute (warning this will kill the creature that ate the pharamones) to get resin you must kill arthropluras with the rhyio and the saddle is unlocked at lvl 90

Dont with normal settings fight this thing i call it lobster bee 🐝 my dad says its the giga of the sky

In mobile ultimate edition ..I recommend to hatch this animal near your raft because If somehow the imprinting want you to take a walk with this creature .. allow following didnt work and when punching doesnt work just punch it to the raft and sail with it .. it working for me ..

1. Tame a spino

2. Tame the lowest level Rex, trike, Maewing or qoetzal ect you can find may not make sense now, but it’s gonna make sense in later steps(whichever is easiest to you)

3. Go to the swamp spot a rhyniognatha and than agro it

4. Kill (3-4) male rhyniognathas (with a Spino)

5. Look up a rhyniognatha trap were it can still attack you on YouTube

6. Trap a female rhyniognatha in said trap

7. Get it down to 10% health.

8. Get the low level creature that you tamed in step two

9. Put the pheromones you get from the male inside its inventory

10. Get the female Rhyniognatha at 10% health to attack creature tamed at step 2.

When she wake up ?. I mean the torpidity; she sleep so long , dont eat phermone to early.

Just because some people suggested the amazing abilities this thing would have dose not mean Wild Card will give it those abilities. And in real life this bug was around the size of a pea.. would be extremely surprised if Wild Card make it as big as it qas suggested. Dont get your hopes up. Remember the monkey with guns we never got?
