Easy way to tame one. IMO

1. build atleast 4 behemoth gates and 2 doors

make the gap between each so an argy can fit through. lure a female of your choice inside and fly out from the gap.

2. Lower its health to 10% easy way is to use wolf. so you can know when its health is below 10% its hp indicator will turn red.

3. just throw in the dino you qant to use as a host. even a bronto fits inside the cage. then use the pheramone with the tame(pheramone from killing male rhynio)

after it inhects its baby it will try to flee. just head out with your dino from the opposite side of the rhynio so you can use it again.

If you don’t have cryos for the Dino you want pregnated you can use a flyer to lead it over to a safer spot and do it easier there.

Im not a pro but i can give u some tips you can use a pistol with a scope to dmg the female rhyniognatha and make sure ur on a safe spot for a safer success rate

Best thing for this is probably a pheromone dart. Also, in my opinion, do not kill females unless they have impregnated your dino

Just tamed it and its really hard to take it to shore and the foods are really expensive

i don’t think it’s worth the tame, when you go through all the hard work to impregnate the dino it asks for 3 hard things to get like a special egg and tuso drop thingy. then if your dino DOESNT die by then because it’s health drops faster then a daeodons food it instantly kills the prego dino when it gives birth and all for (what i got) a level 25 juvenile bug (i gave the giga all it asked for) from a almost level 100 giga. doesn’t make sense it’s insane.

Didn’t want to kill my lvl 273 trike

I used a top level Giga for implant. 35k hp and 2k melee. The female Rhynio was level 80. I satisfied all cravings and it only had 4. After born the baby was lvl 59 with 3k up and 290 melee. Larger Dino’s don’t guarantee great stats.

On my ps4 I net gunned it to get its health down and when it gets out it won’t impregnate my rex or fly around it just chases me around and attacks. Please help someone.

A good strategy is to bring a good shotgun and lower its health, then sacrifice a para since it's big enough and easy to tame

It as been confirmed that the Rhynio can be tamed via a tamed dinosaur and pretty sure the dinosaur dies afterward

The best suitable creature to feed the pheramons is the trike

And if your Dino gets impregnated, make sure it has high health because when your Dino is impregnated it will slowly lose health until it dies(maybe unless you have a snow owl)

For some reason u can tranq them and get their health to 10% while they are tranqed, AND even when unconscious it’ll still impregnated ur Dino of choice basically cheesing the tame. Pro tip use strong tranqs they are a hard knock out:)

Argentavis can not eat the thing the males drops.

Feed the host right before birth or the host will die the moment before the baby rhynio is birthed. If the food is 0 when time for birth both will die.

It says under 10% health but with a lot, and I mean A LOT of failures, we believe it's under 100 health. Yes, thata correct, under 100 health. We switched to use primitive guns and shot it ones every 4-5 seconds while it attacked the tame we planned to sacrifice

I knocked it out so I could get it's hp low...
