When getting multiple dinos impregnated make sure to net and check the Rhyns HP before each attempt (using a magnifying glass). It replenishes its health fairly quickly. Make sure to bring low damage weapons like a prim hatchet to bring its health down if a weapon shot will kill it.

Do not cryopod an impregnated dino as this will cancel the pregnancy.

Build trap lead female in net gun put out dino you want to be impregnated add pheramon. attack the female till below 10 percent health then stand back and let get impregnated. Then repeat as the female is still there.

I used a top level Giga for implant. 35k hp 2.2melee The wild female was Rhinio was lvl the baby born was lvl 59 with Garbage stats and I satisfied every craving. 3k hp and 300 melee.

When you find a female, take it to low health then feed a large creature the pheromone. She will inject her larva. Your creature will then have cravings for random items including Element, Giga eggs, and Carch eggs. Fulfilling cravings gives a better level baby. When the offspring is ready, it will kill the host, so don’t use anything you aren’t willing to lose.

They are rare spawns in swamp biome on lost island and the island. You have to find 2 to tame one, and you might just end up killing it because the taming process is like a reaper, you must make its health below 100, and then it will lay eggs in your dino, if it has eaten the pheromone. Then it should fly away and you have to take care of the dino with eggs inside it. It will have cravings and you must feed it it’s cravings or the baby will die, and after a while the baby will pop out, partially grown. Then you just raise it from there, like a normal dino baby.

To tame this creature kill a male rhynio and collect the pheromone from its corpse. Next find a female and when close by feed a tamed dino the pheromone. Next whittle down the females health and it will deposit the larvae on the host dino. During the incubation period the host will get cravings similar to imprinting and food consumption increases.

The size of the host dino affects the egg quality and stats of the rhynio

Some people are not concerned with wild levels and prefer to get more levels themselves. Find just a female Rhyniognatha. For some it does not matter the levells.

Dont trap, trapping it will some times bug it to the point where it wont do the stabbing animation. Especially on high ping server. Almost guaranteed a stab every time.

So a lot of people think they need to heal the host. You do not need to heal the host, and in fact, healing the host is a waste of resources and time especially if using daeodons. The health lost is inevitable and is always a ratio with the time being a negative percentage of health the host should be missing. Meaning if four hours have passed of the total eight incubation hours then the Dino will be at half health as it should be. Healing past that half will temporarily increase the host health, but it will quickly go back to half health. You do not need to heal it.

In addition, placing food in the dinosaurs inventory and sitting on the Dino, will automatically feed it faster and keep the food meter higher than zero this only works to maintain the food at 6% it won’t work there is about 6% food left or so. You can test this by dismounting and seeing the Dino’s food bar go to 0 then mount and watch it rise to 6%ish.

Process goes from impregnating the host to a juvenile Rhynio emerging from said host, there is no baby phase where you meed to hand feed the bug as dododex is stating.
