I hope this guys rots in h*ll🙂....lost 4 pt,1 trike and over 50 humans,not to talk of all my shi that got lost😭....this mf killed my lv 120 pt and I still can't recover🙂......am gonna get a high lv one of these things and give a full day to use it to kill it's kind

Btw these guys are actually hunters they will hunt you and lock on to you unlike any other creature. Not even a giga does that. One time I ran out of stamina on my pt with one of these chasing me so I dismounted and ran really, 30sec later my pt died and then like 5sec later I got no scoped.

Be carefulful around the swomps cuz rhynignathas ARE NOT RARE AT ALL. I got jumped by 6 once on my spinos and ran and then by 7 ish when I was on my giga(at the same time)

I have no idea how some ppl are saying "these are not rare" in about 120 hours of gameplay and resetting the wild dinos twice,wandering the entire map more times than i can count... i think that coming across them only twice,yeah thats not so common is it.

every time I look for one of these, I always find a male I get the essence, but I can never find a female so only do it when you have a lot of time cause I’ve only found one female ever and I’ve played 237 hours of this game and I still haven’t found more than one and I find it easiest to have cheats on that way you could just spawn it but if you want to tame it for real very hard, so good luck

DO NOT PANIC ! These things are scary and powerful but there is an easy way of getting rid of them that works every time for me, just run/fly into another dino that is there natural prey (this means that they attack it when wild). For example, I always bump into a paracetharium when chased by those and they completely abandon me !

However, you will probably still take a few hits, so always come with an argy or bulky ptera.

P.S. : I am on the new mobile version, so I don’t know whether this works for PC too, but I’m quite sure it does

I hate these motherfuc***s with all my heart.

I tamed a level 150 ptero and later increased its level upto 256 she was perfect perfect. I was traveling all around map within few seconds but when I sit to rest and gain stamina, a group of these assh*les attack me and kill my Potterz, miss you buddy 🥲.

I ran into one with my PT, and it did not end well…

I recommend using a pump action shotgun to take this thing down. I tried to tame one once and it killed my pt named Greenbean (see the pteranodon entry for his story) but I actually managed to get one. It was only level 7 because I couldn’t give the Bronto host the element it was craving.

Megatheriums easily kill them, I was flying in the swamp and landed for Stam, a megatherium lvl 85 killed me on my lvl 172 rhynio

For the guy who said it is scary to encounter on a pt, it is also scary on a max level argy. 😟

THEY ARE NOT RARE AS THE DODODEX SHOWS!!!! they are everywhere on the swamps near redwoods. THEY SPAWN IN GROUPS! THEY AGGRO FROM FAR AWAY! THEY ARE FAST!!! THEIR ATTACKS CAN DISMOUNT YOU!!! THEY ARE ABOMINATION INCARNATE!!!!

Run thats all i have to say if you are not prepared RUN THE OTHER WAY, RUN HOME, RUN OUT OF THE SWAMP, RUN OUT OF THE REDWOODS, JUST GET AWAY FROM THOSE MONSTERS THEY TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME

I only flew past a little piece of swamp and that piece of caca killed me and my pt I had Jst tamed a argy lvl 150 he was perfect I lost all my stuff lucky he is in a cryopod ima see if I can get him back

If you see this and you don't have strong high level dino that can kill them quickly just give up. They WILL kill you. Dont even try goin anywhere near the swamps.
