The Rhyniognatha is on the Island and Lost Island, for people that didn’t know.

If you were to want a fight with Rhynio like push them out of your territories or smth. Use a dino with high stamina and health and speed, even battle if you got high damage.

What? Sounds obvious? Well that’s fact, without those you simply got no chance, bye bye human rights, absolute humiliated.

Never think of using a Pteranodon, you just gonna be humiliated in that case

Only fight with Rhynio when it’s land and use it’s claw to attack you

DO NOT, stand still or be close when it’s start shooting it’s lava looking resin.

The Rhynio can chase you like forever, and their speed? Just like a pteranodon sprinting, so avoid the swamp if you don’t have the suitable way to deal with meeting Rhynio

You CAN NOT OUTRUN IT. Trust me please, I've lost 3+ PTs to these freakish helicopters. Your pt's spin won't save you, and nor will the strength of your argy. Always carry a parachute because not only are they stronger than the love child of Requis and Dwayne Johnson, but they fire resin at your tame to dismount you and disable it. Your best bet to survive one is a tanky creature with a sufficient hitbox, such as a stego. Good luck. -War

I was just taking my new tamed carchar to my base when out of nowhere one of these mf came and killed my pt then started attacking my carchar I thought it would do nothing because I had turned off Dino damage but apparently theses mf have a amber or something shooting attack and it does do damage even if you have turned off Dino damage and it luckily got distracted by a Bronto after it chased me and my carchar this mf almost killed my carchar from the redwoods to the south beach (DO NOT APPROACH!)

Goes to swamp make my base there cause I like the environment and my tribes decide we could make a cool swamp village.

Make base and swamp village with bridges to base so we don’t have to swim in the nasty water and leeches takes serval hours perfectly peaceful only the occasional sarco and bug attacks.

After an hour I come back to base after collecting some metal I hear my tribe screaming “BUG! HOLY SH*T ! GIANT F*CKING BUG!” Me thinking “huh? The small ones? Must be an big swarm”

Arrive at base sees the giant bugs “oooohhhh” we kill one of them and loot it 14min later 5 more attack us , tribe tired of this nonsense so we do an occasional purge with our Rex’s and hunt them down :).

I’m from Florida it like dealing with alligator that end up in your poll or backyard.

So there I was running on my Tek Parry with my first load of metal in the new mobil, when I see a Paracertherium with wings. I thought it was a fairy or something. Then the wings separate to this huge ass bug as I approach. It then procedes to forget the paracertherium and murk my Parry and then me.

I think the agro area on these guys got a little bigger. RIP Hugh

If you can’t find a Rhyniognatha, its not that they aren’t in your game, from another comment I have seen. They have rare spawns like the Carchar and Giga and require you to clear out the area (The swamp on the Island, and same thing with Lost Island) to find them, and then wait at least an hour for them to spawn.

WARNING: do not engage me and my dad were playing, and i had been killed by a Titanoboa, and he tried to get away and that when he attacked he was on an argy and had my pterodactyl following him, it pursued him for about 10 minutes but, miraculously it got distracted and it lost interest, the argy lived and the pterodactyl was nearly dead. Be careful!!

Encountered this hideous monstrosity of a creature on The Island, in the dark! When you’re the sweet, unsuspecting survivor just flapping along on your pteranodon and then all of a sudden, out of the freaking nowhere, SMACK SMACK SMACK! What the…!?!?!? It’s a giant bug, flying fast and attacking faster! My poor Terrie is lashing out for her little Ptera life and mine. Have to fight because we can’t outrun the beast! We land, I hop off Terrie and we’re not able to do much because we’re SAPPED! Dang giant bug shoots burning sticky sap crap! I finally managed to get my pike out and stabbed the life out of this new “Dino”…but I tell ya, Terrie and I are a bit bug shy now!

My tip: fly with an OP flyer!

Good luck finding these. They’re rare and only spawn on the island near the swamp and redwoods and on lost island in the swamp. Happy searching :)

They spawn in swamps for anyone wondering!

I used a primitive shotgun I found in a drop some how these things die in one shot even levl 100 so yeha use a tamed or a wild racer to distract it while you go full freedom mode
