Tips & Strategies

What are tips for rhyniognatha? Tips and strategies for rhyniognatha in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
If you wants this "little" bug and you're on mobile, I suggest trapping it and knocking it out so that way you can get the damage in without accidentally killing it or getting yourself killed. But please know that these things take a really long time to wake up so you're going to be sitting there for a while if it's a really high level since their tour poor drops slower than a lacrosaurus with Dilo spit on it...
If you want to avoid them with a flyer, just fly like 200m over the swamp and you’ll be good. Ive crossed the swamp 100 times on my way to the redwoods or mountains on my argy yet havent had to fight a single one
U guys its kinda easy to counter these guys. Get an allo (I recomend leading it to the river and then using a sarco ti easliy outswim them and put tranqs in its face), level up its health to like 6k and put as many levels into melee after. I got an allo right after unlocking the sarco saddle and i found an allo saddle in a red drop. Then you have a rhynio killer. I’ve taken on packs of three on mobile by just running wildly when they start shooting and when the come down you can rip them apart with the super fast dps. If you see more than 2 of them though, I suggest just maneuvering around cuz they are not easy opponents. Bring this to the top for others.
Make sure that you kill anything surrounding the rhynio before taming
Make a 1 foundation with 2 auto turrets. It aint that expensive and it is effective.
It's spawn is so broken in new ark mobile revamp i once went to the swamp about 8 Rhyniognatha came after me and it's speed is so much you cant escape if you using argy only thing you can do is kill all or let your argy die and run
A few of these killed my rex, spino and yutyrannus leaving me with my otter and my other yutyrannus named frostbite
Guys a lot of people are saying that these things are super common. To put it into perspective for around every 12 foundations snapped together so like a base there will be one rhynio. Please be careful they are aggressive. I would say super aggressive not hyper but super. I was watching one kill two trikes and it went over to me to kill me. And it had both trikes alive. Very common and super aggressive, and what I would call hyper leathal. I had like 360 health and I would get one shotted. These things are beast. I hope you all can tame one since very few people have em right now.
Be VERY careful when going anywhere near the swamp. These guys can catch up to your flyers SUPER easily and if you’re on a ground mount you’re basically screwed if it isn’t a large carnivore like rex or spino with lots of guns and ammo on your person.
They’re also on ultimate mobile edition by the way.
Stay safe
if you ever see this and you have a pt or argy run! but if you have a shadowmane stay and fight or anything strong do not leed it to your base no matter what!! if you do and your a starter your dead so dead and your tames so take this to heart
If you encounter this beast unless you have a wyvern or griffin you aren’t going to kill it. If you encounter this jump off your tame and run.
This bug is just great...it can carry a lot ,has a decent damage stat and speed. If one could manage to impregnate a creature with good stat and fulfill all craving they will surely get a great flyer.though these things are also dangerous af so always go prepared.
Sorry for spelling mistakes.
If you are looking for a rhyniognatha you can use a snow owl to easily find it
Ive only encountered two of these guys so far but they were both in the same place on lost island, it was kinda around where the beaver damns are around cords (70,60)
Just casually flying around checking out these juicy Christmas drops and then I run into one of these big boys. and I thought thylas would be the biggest threat to my flying tames.
IVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE IN THE SWAMPS, IVE EVEN PUT IN A SPAWN COMMAND, IT. NEVER. SPAWNED.
One lost island I find em around these cords 58.9,69.7, 57.2,49.9, 62.1,46.8 careful they are faster then wyverns! When in the wild
