Killing these are actually much easier than you think

All you need is a decent journeyman crossbow loaded with like 10 trank arrows

Dismount and just start shooting it (make sure to not stand still)

They are very easy to knockout and then just kill it

But make sure your mount has more than 800-1000

If you're playing on mobile do NOT fly inside of the swamp. These annoying bugs spawn literally everywhere. I was trying to find Dimetrodon to hatch an Argy egg AND I FLEW PAST 17 OF THESE THINGS. And I still haven't found that Dimetrodon. So yeah. Don't fly in the swamp

Just found out the hard way not too fly at pt through the swamps, i was goin too redwoods too try and find a decent level argy too tame when one of these started shootin freakin lazers at me scared me out my draws i didnt even know they where there killed me and my pt and i lost the only decent loot i had 10/10 do not recommend bumping into this as a low level

There’s a bug on the server I’m playing PVE, the Dino you used the Pheromona on dies on the last 1 second literally, I lose 3 Dino’s trying that; if you have the same issue use an Owl to heal the Dino 6 seconds before the incubation is done and it’s gonna work I tried it today and worked!

for some reason i can pickup my wooden tree platform and place it again on any red wood tree (on ark mobile)

I found a swamp that was a ryagnatha hot spot in astraeos

Usefull to tame rex without a single trap, just pick them and tranq them while flying backward (they can't hit you if you do it right). This work with dino that are big enough maybe medium to big (I tried it with paracer it's perfect I could go on a run killing male rhynio and tame new paracer on the way so my bug army will conquer the ARK), very usefull.

The ULTIMATE transporter for taming:

1. It can carry dinos with up to 600 drag weight, which allows you to carry almost every land creature, except for gigas, carcharos, brontos, and titanos. To mitigate damage from aggressive dinos while you are carrying them with your rhynio, you can:

1a. You can use the resin armor ability to take 40% less damage

2a. You can use the screech ability to "scare" almost every land creature for 20 seconds, but it has a 30 second cooldown. You can use this by dropping the creature, going on land, using the ability, then picking up the dino again to not get attacked for 20 seconds.

3a. You can strafe by flying perpendicularly left or right. This confuses the creature's AI and convinces to move its head in the opposite direction you are strafing, which prevents it from attacking you.

2. You can equip weapons while riding it, this allows you to:

2a. Tranq dinos while in the sky so they can't attack you, you can also tranq certain dinos that are being carried by your rhynio at the same you are riding your rhynio, this includes dinos like rexes, yutys, and other medium size creatures.

2b. Tranq dinos on land, using your rhynio's large health pool to tank, you can also use the screech ability or sap ability to minimize damage.

3. You can use its resin projectiles abilities to immobilize dinos by doing a rocket attack, then quickly switch to needle attack and it will make the dino stuck in seconds. (this takes some skill to learn and master)

Just be wary of other rhynios, because they will literally attack any wild animal that's not a megatherium, rex, spino, giga, carcharo, yuty or titano (this includes megs too they can target megs outside of water but they cant go into water lol) plus literally like all tames

Probably cry or maybe shield your first dodo with all your life

On mobile it chooses a new craving directly after you feed a craving to your dino similar to imprinting, but you wont see it until the cravings cooldown is up.

This means if you are save scumming to get better cravings you should do it before you feed a craving to your dino, then after you feed it wont tell you the next craving so you need to wait until the cooldown timer is up, then if you get a bad craving you need to download and wait out the cravings timer again.

this also applies to the first craving you need to save before your dino dies instead of before the first craving timer ends if you want to roll a new first craving

If you save seconds before the cravings timer is up, you will get the same craving every time you download your save.

On new mobile they don't seem to de-aggro if ur on a flyer, they just chase u across the whole map till u die. I aggroed one near redwood it chased my argue all the way to red ob where it died in the water. THEN, the Rhynio stayed underwater and killed me several times while trying to retrieve my loot. THEY FIGHT JUST AS WELL UNDERWATER AS IN THE AIR!!!

Imagine being a paraceratharium(not sure if i spelled it right) . Living your best life. And then you spot an oddly shaped bug that heads toward you with an only intention of killing you. It gets rapidly bigger each millisecond you see it approaching. You try everything you might to make it retreat and manage so, but as it gets further, it spits an orange substance that makes your eyes boil and digest your body slowly. You scream a slow and painful death as that giant bug also tears your neck apart without any remorse.

There is no escaping this bug I'm afraid😬

Apex predator yet they spawn in packs of up to 3. But hey, at least you wont get aggroed on by microraptors or anything thats not a giga, rex, carcharo, megatherium, or another rhynio.

Beware of this creature it's faster than a pteranodon oh and it shots fireballs.

I was chasing after an otter in the swamps west of the Redwoods, then started searching the trees on my Argy and wound up face-to-face with a Rhynio. It scared the absolute sh*t out of me, these are by far one of, if not the scariest creature in the game because they stay hidden and laying in wait in the trees to ambush you. Of course I flew off and it started chasing us, but thankfully I read another tip on here that said if you fly under a Paracer, it will lose the chase! It worked and me and Rufio are still alive to tell the tale. Flyer beware.

Make sure you have every little ridiculous thing it could possibly ask for. My bronto was a level 280 and the Rhynio was a level 140,but I got a level 61 baby because I couldn't satisfy the second craving.

If you guys are wondering how a rhyinoganthana baby level is determined it depends on the level of your dino (host) and the female rhyinoganthana that impregnates your creature also cravings really matter a lot the formula of cravings it that the total cravings you feed the creature divided by the total cravings you could feed the creature basically around 4-9 depends on server boosts or cheats.

Ptero speed: over 1000

Ptero faster? Apparently not….

So... Anyone waste 3 hours of their life looking for one and losing a dino because they dont know how to walk around trees and rocks?
