What are tips for rhyniognatha? Tips and strategies for rhyniognatha in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Be very careful, for they are faster than pteranodons and will kill it and you.
I was trying go in to the redwoods to tame a Thylacoleo but it scared me and out of fear i ran my pt out of there but the rhynio caught up and killed my pt Rip Pharry🫡
A Rex can handle these guys with ease, I guess that’s not really the point but it ends up being a free kill, and you can clear out space for flying over swamps… just don’t fight too many at once <3
Ay yall j learned this the hard way, but the drag weight of the host creature matters!! I had a 135 female impregnate my trike, and even though I gave it all the cravings it came out a 68, but I did a 125 female with. Bronto and it came out ~lvl 150. Make sure your don’t make the same mistake!!
I noticed they stop chasing you immediately as you hide behind a rock unlike other creatures who don't lose interest for a while.
They can hang on cliffs, carry rexes, swim, fly very fast, and cary so many things. I was leveling a rhynio and I attacked a woolly rhino. This woolly rhino was max level and it was as difficult to kill as a moschops. Imagine if I had resin on this considering I don’t have sap.
They are now on Valugero Ascended
Whoever is saying, you can’t use an elixir on them after they’re born is wrong. I’ve used them on several without any issue.
Yes they are faster than your pteranodon... Once they spot you there is no going back to your base with your dino and loot. And I strongly suggest not to do that... If you manage to keep yourself safe and you lead them to your base... Then its time to reset and start a new world.
If you plan to fly through the swamp with something like a Pterandon or an Argy, I'd highly suggest to gain altitude and fly at that height until you've crossed the swamp because these things are not only strong as heck, they're also FAST, so fast that they can catch up to Pterandons. I've lost about two tames on it.
Beware: these living combat helicopters are extremely common in the Swamps, especially the southern part of the Redwoods in Ark mobile(ultimate mobile edition). If you want to go to the Redwoods but doesn't want to deal with them, enter from the northern part of the Redwoods.
This is too op it can fly and swim
Why tf do these things shoot fireballs. I lost my first pterodactyl to this thing and then I died to fall damage. Safe to say that I deleted that world and will never go to the swamp ever again unless I have something with an ungodly amount of health and damage.
It’s even scary on a brontosaurus vs a level 1.
If your on the lost island you can possibly find one in swamp areas. If your on the island probably check redwoods or swamps. If your taming one kill a male since the females don’t drop pheromones, find a female, use a harpoon gun ( put the net ammo in ) use something to get the female low. Get a dinosaur ( I recommend giga or carcha to get higher chance of it inheriting the stats ) feed it to your dinosaur . And let the female to impregnate your dinosaur. And there you have it a rhyniognatha. Just don’t cryo your Dino or you lose the rhy.
If you go to deep rivers or the ocean and fly just above the waters surface you can land on the water and glide just like a bloodstalker which causes you to sprint with extra drift and if you go to shallow water you will sink in the water and then start walking on land again.
