Let me tell you how I got my Rexes I just got 10-15 Giant Bear Traps and placed it all down and and started using my tranq arrows and running to the bear traps like a PUS- and he would get stuck and still would want to chase me you poor bas- then he would try to run but I would chase him and knock him down.

To tame you will need to be near a cliff and have tranq arrows in a crossbow, once its knocked out you give it food... I did it with kibble it was easy

These bad boys can be knocked air with around 50 or more tranq arrows but I reccomend using darts for this tame It takes around 10 darts since a low level has like 5000 torpor .feed prime meat since the creatures around their spawn give prime such as argys.

I have 3 of these but ppl might think there hard to tame but if you have the right gear on hand there also not as dangerous as ppl think as well if you can out run them your fine

Real man use a candy cane club and a few tranq arrows(did it this way)

Also YOU WILL NEED ANY TYPE OF SMOOTHING BALM TAME IT

1. get a deer, a beaver, and a doedicurus

2. farm the corresponding materials until all the almost encumbered

2. build the smallest square you can around the obleisk with stone foundations (hint: it'll touch the inner corners of the circle pad)

3. Stack the stone doorways on the inside edge of each foundation until you reach height limit (about 6-7)

4. Build a stone ceiling (useful to trap quetzals, tapejaraa and other skittish flying tames)

5. Revive the implant and run as fast as you possibly can outside the stone doorway

6. Enjoy it's suffering!

Bonus: if you tame a female you can also auto complete the Rex kibble quest

These are the steps to kill this thing step.1 kill 20 dodos also kill 5 dilophasuarus step.2 get 50 bolas step.3 tame 15 raptors step.4 find a rex step.5 sneak behind it step.6 make your 15 raptors stop step.7 get far away then shoot it with a bow step.8 make your 15 raptors attack it step.9 shoot it with your bow step.10 run away step.11 its low health attack it with your spear step.12 done :if this helped press the arrow facing up below

4 stone fence foundations, 8 door frames. Make the foundations in a [ shape. Build it two high. Lure it in and complete the box like 🟦. Cheap and easy.

Ok so make sure there’s no danger near the rex cause when you find it there’s gonna be a lot of dangers like raptors or terror birds but don’t worry the rex will be alright when its unconscious its you that has to survive

On Gen 2 all I did is got 2 crossbows 200 arrows and I was flying over it's and shooting is it was a 135 then I gave it mutton and tamed it up. Sorry for any spelling errors

The rex is pretty easy to tame. And there is several ways to tame it.

1. Stand on a higher cliff and shoot tranqs. He will start to run away when torpor gets high.

2. Build a 10x10 stone base in a square. 3 walls high. Or 3 door frames high. Add stone stairs. Lure the rex in to the trap and tranq it.

3. Use a Griffin and fly above the rex and shoot with tranqs. And fly after and shoot till its sleeps.

4. Use a good thyla, horse, wolf or other good tame that are fast enough and that you and use weapons when riding. Shoot the rex with tranqs and run away. Turn around and shoot a few more times and run. Repeat until the rex start to run away. Run after and shoot with tranqs.

5. Have a tribe mate pick you up with an argy and you can shoot tranqs on the rex.

If you're on the island and looking for high level rexes to tame or kill, look at carno island in the northeast corner of the map. Alternatively, high level rexes also spawn on the far west coast of the map, right on the border of where the biome switches to snow. There is a beach there with a huge rock nearby. Many high level rexes have been known to spawn there as well.
