When I was taking mine I don't have enough Trang darts and arrows so I used a club it was already running

The way I do it as I use a rock drake from aberration it’s Jump and glide can get me away quickly and the fact that I can shoot at the Rex while still on my mount work great. The invisibility of the Rock drake also allows me to get that crucial first shot without it bum rushing me

You need lots of trick arrows Kiki I heard of it stay very far away so it won’t seats yet but you can see it

Just sit in the water and shoot some tranqs away. No big fancy traps necessary

The way I tame Rexes is to go out on a tapejara and a bow and tranq arrows. Cling onto the side of a cliff and non stop pump it with tranqs. Throw some raw meat in so it starts the taming process and quickly go and kill stego or something else to get raw prime.

i got one of these with a high lvl stuck in my house and couldn't get i kept shooting until it went down but it took a very long time to tame

Jump from a cliff to its back and crouch. It will try to attack you but can't. Then knock it out with any thing. Hands,tranq dart, tranq arrows, etc. Have a nice day

I knocked a lvl 30 with some clubs, it’s was a boosted server, but the torpor it took was still the same, it was not that hard

My Rex was tamed by the river near the green obelisk, and you want to know how I trapped her? I literally stood on top of a rock that she could have easily reached, and shot her with tranq darts. She just stood there. Doing nothing. Debbie was an extremely easy tame.

You should get to high ground to a point it can’t reach you then start shooting it (it’s best to use trank arrows or something like that)

Just lure them into a taming pen built with stone with your fly mount or fast mount for example gallimimus (RIP Genesis 😭) or raptors (RIP Blue 🥺) keep the pen away from your base. Check once in a while on it to trap it again if it managed to glitch out of the pen. Tranqs are ok or Toxicants are better. Feed soothing balm if possible to get a more outstanding result. Kibble is recommended but make sure you prepare those beforehand. If on mobile, that’s pulmonoscorpius kibble for you. If any other platform, Moschops or titanboa is suggested for you.

How do you tame it faster when it’s knocked out

All x creatures take more tranq arrows and darts to knock them out. To save you some time Calculate the number of x creature you want to tame and whatever it says to knock it out times what ever you are using by 2.5, so if a Rex took 50 tranq arrows, an x Rex would take around 125 tranqs.

Tamed mine between the swamp and redwoods. Took me long, not because of knockin' it out but, because I kept forgetting the structures for my trap and the first ones, I brought the wrong Argy 😂 Then second I forgot my ramp. However it went well.

Just 3x3 foundations with 3 walls high, and ramp on and side, and you have a Rex trap.

I only tamed it when I was only Level 1 :D.It was a Level 16 Rex,I found it on Herbivore Island. Lol jk for my level,I was level 29 or 30.
