Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a rex? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a rex.
Build a Stone Pilla trap what didn't work then when the Rex is chasing you hide and wait the the Rex attack the trap. When he doing it SHOOT HIM WITH ALL YOUR TRANQ ARROWS. (sorry for bad English)
Can be carried by the Rynio. (Dragonfly)
I tamed this monster using a crossbow with tranq arrows, and 3 large bear traps...i almost died taming it. but it's kinda worth it because i tamed this powerful creature...
Build 6 tall with pillars with ladders at the back then just use tranqs
Many people overcomplicate how to tame these— it’s a lot simpler than you think!
A good Daeodon mount with points in Health (and a lot of meat) can tank most Rexes while you keep tranq-ing away on piggyback. They’re decently fast too, so they can keep up when the Rex starts running. Just watch out for Purlovia or Microraptor, or else you’ll become the Rex bait!
Instead of using all of those fancy expensive traps just use a cliff or tall rock now you can tame a rex with ez
Shoot it with a lot of tranquilizers
Tip 1: pachy mode
Tip 2: do some damge with charge
Tip 3: unconsuse
You can tame this creature just using stone door frame ,like you trap rhinoceros ,i actually trap one accidently using rhinoceros stone door frame 😂

If you want to tame a rex then the best option would be this:
1. Get on a quetz with platform saddle
2. Find the rex u want
3. Knock it out
4. Protect it with your dear life
5. Since most rexes spawn near mountains, when the rex is knocked out say your prayers(if you know what im trying to say)
Use a lot of walls if you don't want to have problems with the resources get a doedicures and a beaver plus a mantis or you can get use a metal pick or a stego or a trike for it I just hate it when you have to be level 74 for its saddle use a long neck rifle with lots of darts once down feed it meat a lot and build a fence around it and put you usefull items there and a sleep bag and boom you have a rex it is good for raw prime or raw meat so it is so great if you want a lot of meat for other carnivores that all and to level to 74 do a note run look it on YouTube they will tell you or you can wait and level up to level 52 and unlock the GPS and it will be a lot easier and get a pt with a carno following you make sure you have a lot of carnos or a good carnivore make sure you put in melee damage and health bye bye sorry this was so long
There pretty easy to tame I tamed one with my freiends with slingshots
Get an argentiveris and shoot then fly then shoot than shoot than fly
I just tamed a lvl 2 Rex and they are extremely slow in water first we tried to use a rock and hit it with tranquil arrow but it was able to climb the rock (the rock was extremely tall and we could only get up it using a ptredon) so we escaped using our pt and found out they are extremely slow in water and we just kept it in water and was able to tame it.
If you are on The Island you can just grab these with a rynio and trap it easily!!
It just sad how easy is to tame them
Build 4 Dino gates place three of them in a u lure your Rex in and place the final gate closing it off so it doesn’t get out it helps if you had a bear trap but it’s not really needed as rexes shouldn’t be able to one shot you unless your ho is low and your gear is bad lol
If you’re in the snow biome, have a decent and fast argy, and a safe place to k.o., this is a pretty simple tame. Get on a ledge, knock it out, and then just kill anything that gives prime. Argies, purlovias and mammoths are just a few of the animals that drop prime. Keep loading it with prime and eventually you’ll tame the dinosaur.
