REPORTING A VITAL BUG!.
I’m probably not the only one who’s had this happen to them ( This is in ASCENDED) by the way.
I’ve had this happen multiple times, and it even happened in front of my face as I was riding one of my tames, A Direwolf I tamed by imprinting on a wild baby, ( glad it wasn’t a properly tamed high level though since now I only have my 225 Direwolf I did tame properly.)
This bug I’m talking about is, literally disappearing tames As I was saying earlier, the DireWolf suddenly just disappeared,
And no it was not even in the Dino tracker either , and no death in the tribe log)
This happened to a Baby Ceratosaurus and Carno aswell, this only appears to happen to former wild imprinted creatures, and I do not have a clue why ,
Or maybe , I do.
Atleast the theory is this: The Game even though you “tamed them”, still classified them as wild Ike they were before and they somehow despawn as a wild one would.
Add rocket jumps to the tek saddle
Hello! Im here to tell you guys about what could maybe make this beast better ingame *hope ya like*
1. Roar, tbh when a rex roars it takes like forever, so you can easily kill it right when it sees you, irl a tyrannosaurus rex would actually ambush other dinosaurs instead of full on charging in, so maybe make it so the roar doesn’t happen on a wild rex?
2. Ambush, these creatures were not really the fastest, they were big chubby creatures who used inmense bite force to kill their victim, i was thinking about 2 modes, an ambush mode and a battle mode, when the rex uses the ambush mode it starts crouching, similar to the player, once the beast does that it might have reduced speed but it will have much more stealth, once the rex does the first bite in this form it will deal DOUBLE the damage it would normally do, after that it will stand up and go to battle mode (which is basically back to normal), according to some research and stuff, i realized that the Rex irl had soft tissue in their feet, similar to an elephant’s foot, these were used to ambush successfully
3. Vision, “it cant see you if you cant move”, those words may be true in the fiction world, but in reality everything is much different, an irl rex actually had good vision needed to…you guessed it, ambushing, but why cant an ingen (JP or Jw) rex see good? Well, the Rex’s head is quite wide, which is probably the reason why it cant see really good, going back to Ark, what if these beasts had a bigger vision range? What if they ambushed you in the wild? That would be scary and cool at the same time
4. Bite force (aka damage), in Ark the rex does around 60 damage in the wild, but in Irl the rex could easily eat a human, think about it like this, lets say you're eating a burger or hotdog right? Well, do you really bite it with all of your force? No, but why? Because you dont need to, its the same situation we have with an irl rex, i guess 80 or 100 damage would be good, but if you dont agree then its fine
Thanks for randomly reading this and have a nice day!
(All of this is just opinion and some are facts, thank you!)
is it good that in lvl 62 i alr have 3 rex 1spino 2 allo and 1 theri??
I mutated my Rexes on official, I think I hit a max hp…… anyone got an hp higher than 112k?
petition for having a button on the creatures that says “enable mating” just like real ark. Instead of having the creatures wander to have them mate (to me it’s annoying).
Btw u can use normal meat!
Rawr
Ark: strong and can kill anything
Real life: overrated and dies to a trike
This dude can beat a racing horse in a race (no seriously… they can)
Fun fact: T-rexes' bite force were 18 000 m/s and their bite forces were stronger than a giganotosaurus which were 12 000+ m/s. T-rexes also have more tooth than a giga. This proves why T-rexes were the apex predators of the dinosaurs rather than the giga. Between a fight between the giga and the rex, The rex will win as it have those tooth and force bite.

One of it’s disadvantages that his stamina decrease so fast and increase so slow
Rexes are excellent tames. It’s basically a death machine, albeit a slow one, and most creatures won’t aggro it (except for carnivores the same size or larger).
Get a green Rex name Buck. Then get a light brown Rex and name it Doe. Then have then breed and name the offspring junior.
The reason why I’m putting it here is it won’t allow me to put it in the name category.
Darn…I was about to get ark ascended when it said I had to have game pass… tap the upwards facing triangle if you feel the pain.
Here’s a little tip for if you’re trying to mass imprint boss rexes without the proper kibble for some of their comfort foods, you can cryopod the tame and throw it back out and what you will need to do will change. Hope this helps
Is 200% damage wild good? If so, then I found a level 92 female rex with that.
Killing this thing with your fists gives you bragging rights.
If you want to level up a Rex fast
Ride it and munch on some trees 🌴
Not rex related…but this seems like the main hub. Whenever I name my tames they don’t show their names…for example, yesterday I tamed a jerboa and named it squeaky, but it didn’t say squeaky it said jerboa. So I tried again, and again. I logged off then back on. I even turned off my Xbox then turned it back on. Didn’t work. I also tamed a dilo (yes I’m a noob) and tried naming her fireball cause of her color. Same thing happened. Hopefully this bug gets fixed in the extinction map release update. If anybody has any idea what is going on please tell me.
Best for bosses and with enough speed it can be tail ride but now on the tail
