I don't know why people scared of these are no big deal against Alli's I guess bc these are to slow they have a lot of damage but to slow you can out rut it easily and if you can out run you can ez kill it with a long neck rifle or a shotgun. It's to easy 😎

On Gen 2 all I did is got 2 crossbows 200 arrows and I was flying over it's and shooting is it was a 135 then I gave it mutton and tamed it up. Sorry for any spelling errors

I am here to unite the two factions on war since time immemorial: The Rex faction and The Spino faction...

First of all, yes everyone has their on opinion but this is MY opinion so without further ado...

I dont believe in "Rex are better than Spinos" thing

Because in certain scenarios the Spino is IN FACT better than The Rex for example: When Fighting in an area with water a spino can excel in combat with higher attack speed and damage when it has the wet buff and when brutally injured can run fast and swim fast.

But the rex on the other hand has higher health and stamina which means it can tank most damage than the spino can and endure longer runs than the spino but lacking the speed.

In conclusion...

They are both GREAT. Get both of them..

I have a Spino (Riptide) and a Rex (Megabyte) both of them are equally leveled and powerful

I will be pasting this on the spino side aswell..

But do remember even if i love spinos and rexes

The rex is pretty easy to tame. And there is several ways to tame it.

1. Stand on a higher cliff and shoot tranqs. He will start to run away when torpor gets high.

2. Build a 10x10 stone base in a square. 3 walls high. Or 3 door frames high. Add stone stairs. Lure the rex in to the trap and tranq it.

3. Use a Griffin and fly above the rex and shoot with tranqs. And fly after and shoot till its sleeps.

4. Use a good thyla, horse, wolf or other good tame that are fast enough and that you and use weapons when riding. Shoot the rex with tranqs and run away. Turn around and shoot a few more times and run. Repeat until the rex start to run away. Run after and shoot with tranqs.

5. Have a tribe mate pick you up with an argy and you can shoot tranqs on the rex.

If you're on the island and looking for high level rexes to tame or kill, look at carno island in the northeast corner of the map. Alternatively, high level rexes also spawn on the far west coast of the map, right on the border of where the biome switches to snow. There is a beach there with a huge rock nearby. Many high level rexes have been known to spawn there as well.

These bad boys are hard to tame so here’s my steps: Step one: craft a lot of toxicant or tranq arrows: Step 2: find a BAD BOI REX:step 3: put arrows in bow or crossbow(crossbow recommended for durability:step 3 SHOOT AWAY WHEN IT STARTS RUNNING ON A FAST MOUNT LIKE A RAPTOR:step 4: use your fast mount to catch it: step five: finish knocking it out: step 6: SHOVE RAW PRIME MEAT DOWN ITS THROAT AND BOOM YOU HAVE A REX. The easiest way to tame is to bring a high lvl Argie, a spyglass, some food, and a crossbow or longneck with tranqs to carno island. Kill everything near the Rex including all of the lower level rexes, leaving only the highest level Rex. Then, aggro it and fly up to the center piece of the island and find a safe perch to dismount. Shoot it from there, and when it runs away get on the argie, fly closer, land, dismount, and continue shooting until it is too far, then remount and repeat. Once it is tranqued, get some prime from whatever is near, and put it in the Rex. Take your argie and fly it above the Rex, and just keep an eve out for anything that might attack it. Once it’s tamed, cryopod and fly back to the nearest allied base. You can repeat this and get a different gender, and begin building up an army. Fair hunting a good day to you.

It's usually takes about 10 to 30 tranq darts to knock out a rex so you shouldn't use tranq Arrows unless it low level and desperate. And it also takes 10 to 100 narcotics to keep it asleep until you tame it

The easiest thing to use to tame it is prime fish 🍖.

So get a shark first and finally the best tip of always over prepare and use more tranq darts than necessary.

The best place to find a Rex is on the volcano in the middle of the map.

YOU CAN OUTRUN REXES WITH BASE MOVEMENT SPEED.

Not to mention how much time the Rex wastes when it roars at you.

So, don't be afraid of this thing! They probably pose less of a threat than Raptors.

You can even tame it with a slingshot!
