So you want a low level male Rex. [around 10-15]

And then you should get at least 3 females, also low levels. [around 10-15]

And then boom you can get an easy kibble farm!

It’s not as hard as they say,first get some soothing balm via crafting or some other way,then get some tranquilizer darts or toxicant arrows and raw meat find a good,suitable Rex,shoot it with the tranq equipment that you got earlier,give it some soothing balm and raw meat,wait a minute or two and enjoy your new rex

if you encounter just do what i do with ANY other carnivore. go to a neutral dino. and let it attack that as you run.

For a 130 it said 87 with cross bow…… took a little over 150… to the head…. With 5 second spacing…

I suggest to search for one near a medium-high cliff. They can’t climb most the stuff you can’t jump over actually. Kill all things ( carnivore) in the area. I suggest bringing a flying boi or spine boi for this one. Now, just shoot away. Oh, and he likes fish meat. So use fore mentioned spine boi for that. Bring like, 5 narcotics. And like 10-50 tranquilizer darts. Or 100 bow shoot sleep arrows. Y'all good now. ( and for damage, yes. A rex is definitely top 5. )

As a newbie player i started out on the casual and easy mode and I still play it to this day and bc of that when I find Dino's they almost never are over level 10 but if your gonna tame a rex that's that level you need about 5 to 20 narcotic a slingshot with at least 50 to 80 stones some tranq arrows and maybe some darts if you high enough level and just some basic meat if prime or kibble is too hard to get and as a mobile player I would just use regular meat and a tame/mount a flyer preferably and boom your almost 100% sure of getting a rex if this helps please consider putting a thumbs up on the meter and check out my yt channel called rain flower the warrior cat and blind strike the warrior cat thanks and hope this helps out

Like every other carnivore, it depends on smell not eyesight. Killed one with a sword(easy mode btw), and all my armour broke. Accidentally ran into a therizinosaur, which almost killed me(I thank the Rex for its huge amount of hide) repaired my armour beforehand and the therizinosaur slew my armour.

Since the TLC patch came out, the Rex is now better than the Giganoto at gathering meat unless the Giga is imprinted.

The Rex is a apex predator of the game, only out macho from the giga, and sometimes a spino. As well that giga os about to have a new rivalry over powering it. Back to the Rex, the Rex is a high classed power house that will take out almost and prey. I’ve seen Rex’s ( in my friends discord sever ) we both found the Rex’s prey items. Diet : trikes, paras, and I’m not going to say another 17 Dino’s. The Rex we have found was a level 15 so about a average level Rex in the “lost island” map. The Rex can take on almost anything. ( not in game but they should add ) -Females will nest in the high hills in the forest. The best should be are 4 foundations big. The nest will be covered in rooten vegetation, and tree wood as well as bones. The female Rex’s will have 3 eggs in a nest, if the baby rexes yacht they will be wild Rex’s but have to grow following the female mother. The Rex hatchlings will be slimmer and have fur and lose it when they grow. The Rex is a idle power hunter and a really carring parent. Anyways back to the nest 1 / 3 eggs will make it to sub adult. ( why are Rex’s so big ) their genificly modified from Helena walkers notes. ( what is the best taming method ) to use prime meat and mutton. Btw the Rex hunts large sour pods

If u tame a Rex map I Recommend scorched earth and extinction

Heard ya wanted to be safe well 3 stone gates the normal ones place them in a tight triangle for easier shots get about 50 or more trank arrows and some darts if it's a decent level or be a real man for ones and show your domination by shooting it with trank arrows some stone only to run out of ammo and beat it to unconscious

( Did this a couple of times and damm I felt badass especially the first time )

To tame it get a snow owl and keep freezing it and then shoot it with tranq darts
