As a newbie player i started out on the casual and easy mode and I still play it to this day and bc of that when I find Dino's they almost never are over level 10 but if your gonna tame a rex that's that level you need about 5 to 20 narcotic a slingshot with at least 50 to 80 stones some tranq arrows and maybe some darts if you high enough level and just some basic meat if prime or kibble is too hard to get and as a mobile player I would just use regular meat and a tame/mount a flyer preferably and boom your almost 100% sure of getting a rex if this helps please consider putting a thumbs up on the meter and check out my yt channel called rain flower the warrior cat and blind strike the warrior cat thanks and hope this helps out
More Rex Encountering Tips
I was level 18 and watching a battle, bronto vs. Rex and 3 raptors 1 alpha it was cool, until I fell of the cliff I was standing on and was at half health but the rex couldnโt see me because it looked like the bronto looked at me and attacked the red to distract him. One up equals 1 respect for big ol brontos
So there are average rexes. They drop meat, prime meat, hide, and keratin. There are tek rexes. They drop scrap metal, oil, electronics, and element dust. There are alpha rexes. They drop tons of prime, cool loot, and some hide and keratin. So tell me: WHY ARE THERE NO ALPHA TEK REXES THAT DROP POLYMER??? thank you for your time happy hunting
Once me and my friends were terrified of Rex, and one came stomping near our base. So we grabbed all our Dino's and it was anticlimactic as we pretty much killed it instantly. Donโt be scared of rex.
Don't go near them without a plan learned the hard way
I had to knock out a 135 rex out with a slingshot. On day three. I had used my crossbow, two other bows, and all of my tranq arrows. I had absolutely no choice, but to knock him out with a slingshot. It took many stones and tears. But somewhere around 150 stones wasted, I knocked him down fed him, and he was tamed.
I just found one near my base wish me luck and any tips
You can find it in places near a forest or a swamp
Them: low level can not kill it.
Me: stands on cliff and shoots it with a bow
Me: goes from level 10 to 25

I had a level 70 stegosaurus and tried to kill an alpha trex. Letโs just say the Rex had a snack.
