The way i solo tame a rex of any level is to have a flying mount and enough tranq darts or arrows for the Rex in question, Agro the Rex and land away from it so it walks towards you, jump off your mount and shoot it in the head as it does this, fly over its head or around it and repeat, be fast!

in ascended it’s really easy to get baby’s! that’s how i have like half of my dino’s i have a rex and like 5 alloys and like 20 dire wolves!

Try to tame a male and female to breed for back-ups

1) GO FOR A SINGLE ONE!!! It’s better to find one on a mountain 🏔️ or on the carnivore island 🏝️.

2) if u get lucky, u can find a normal or a tek. (It’s easier to find a tek one but it’s in the space biome in the genesis pt 1 dlc.)

3) u need to tranq it. U can starve it to tame faster or u also could just wing it!

4) and 123…..bang 💥 u tamed a Rex!

How to Tame a Rex when your low lv

Step one: get a slingshot and a bunch of narcotics and like alot of meat

Step two: get a parasaur to hold alot of rocks and slingshots

Step three: get maybe 200-500 rocks and like 5-7 slingshot

Step four: get on a very high rock high enough he can't reach you and start shooting

Step five: when Rex it's knocked out give it meat and narcotics.

Step six: Enjoy!

It says there's a 99.6% chance of death when using fists to tame a lvl 10. I have gathered that there is a chance, and I will see you nerds when I get a new Rex.

These guys are actually not as tough as everyone says. A low level can be killed by a good leveled trike, pteranodon and even yourself with a good bow.

Tamed this boi to add with the two spinos and alpha allo I tamed at lvl 48 arrow if you think I’m dumb AND DO IT IM LOOKING BACK THE NEXT DAY TO SEE WHO THINKS IM AN IDIOT buh bye

Not hard at all, intimidating but not hard, they are stupid, just get up on a high rock and start shooting tranqs. I tamed a level 247 with under 100 tranqs in a crossbow and 190% Mele on my character at level 69, I used my newly tamed snow owl lvl 236 (oooh, wooowww) My crossbow broke and my nearest place to repair was 1/3 the map away, I rushed to a high teir loot drop, there was an APPRENTICE crossbow (wow) and I tranqued and now I'm boss boy :) I called him optimus prime cus he had the perfect matching coulours and was a tek rex

Use a stone trap since they can’t break stone for some reason

A level 10 takes 17 tranq arrows 👍🏻

Rex can spawn on carno Island with 25% chance

Level up to 40 and can be knocked by any bow with tqan arrow don't ask me about the levels

If these guys spawn in the south they should have feathers even if they leave the south they would still have feathers,

But the Rexes that don’t spawn in south should just stay normal

If it’s a low level (around 8-19) you can tame it in around 40 seconds depending on how high it’s torpidity is and what you feed, my cousin and I tamed a level 8 for me and it took 7 tranqs and 4 cooked prime meat and POOF we tamed it
