Take a high level rock drake to find these things. Bring the health of the reaper queen to BELOW 2000. Then hit the Queen with a pickaxe while on the drake. She will grab you right off of it and impregnate you. Took me about ten minutes of hitting her on a level 200 drake with high health and and a melee damage rate of about 2000. You can check her health level with a magnifying glass while Your drake recharges it’s stamina.

you can not reroll stats with the same reaper they will pop the same every time

you can not find colored reapers until one pops, the color of the reaper will repeat from the same reaper but you will not know it pops colors til one pops, queen will look normal.

you can transfer with babies in you

shotgun spinos or reapers on drakes back for extra 75lvls

blackbox self with cooked meat for baby to harvest you when popping in a closed room(this way it cant run anymore and will feed itself almost to full grown on x4 if not full)

to get pregnant build the oldskool larger trap its more efficient on gaining reaper aggro and animations run smoother) and preferably build outside of rads, rads will instakill your baby if you get even a glimpse of rad sickness

use magnifying glass to check reaper hp.

all the tips you really need

A rhythnio can pick it up. Do what you will with that’s info since it makes it easier to pick up reaper queens.

I did this method with a lvl 1 survivor on official, it totally works, in gen2 find a reaper queen in rockwells innards, lure her into the acid beneath the big heart by the terminal, use HLNA scan to see the health drain while the acid is up, and dodge her projectiles, then just watch her health get below 2k and there you go

You need to turn off your lights or it wont impregnate you. That includes your shoulder pets

Remember after you have been impregnated by the reaper queen (by lowing it’s health it not sure the spike in its back will grow red) taking any radiation poison will kill the reaper king inside of you

You can now transfer servers while being pregnant, you can also die witch is good I guess.

Make sure that you have full health or else reaper wont impregnate you it will release in the middle of the process.

I know there's already like 1,000 of these tips but here's another with some extra info that I really wish I knew earlier! Keep in mind I still play ASE.

So first you need a light pet and a hazmat suit, basic stuff I won't get into. Find a high level reaper queen, I like to search specifically around the edge of the radiation zone so I can kite it into non-irradiated blue zone and wear better armor, then make a trap nearby (I highly recommend captain fatdog's/at least using double doors, and making sure that all the foundations are all decently above the ground).

Next, you're gonna need to go find the reaper queen again and kite her into the trap, then damage her until she's at less than 2,000HP, I recommend turning off your light pet (can be done through emotes in the whistle wheel!!) to do less damage when she's really low to reduce the chance of accidentally killing her. Then she'll glow pink and you can stand somewhat close, next to your PASSIVE tame so you can be climb back on when she's done. When she unaggroes to the trap, if you're standing in the sweet spot where she can't attack but she can still aggro to you, she'll crouch down with the little spines on her head twitching (If she doesn't do this, you're probably about to get knocked out, climb back on your tame), pick you up and impregnate you.

If you're doing this on a server with high growth/gestation rates, you can be impregnated multiple times with a box nearby to get multiple reapers with slightly different stats. If the queen gets out while you're leveling up, you can pretty easily trap her again if you chose a flat area. I managed to get one reaper with 24 melee and another with 30, plus 1 reaper with 35 health and another with 39. (For ASA you'll probably get much better stats since the speed stat was removed.) You can also drag out any friends or tribemates if you're on a server with lower gestation rates.

For the baby, I find that a 1x1 box works fine. If you have the Dino Storage mod/The ASA equivalent you can use the soul gun to easily pick up the baby, or fill your inventory with cooked meat and let it kill you (better on lower rate servers/officials).

You can tame them really easily on gen 2. Just find the reaper u want and lead it under Rockwell’s heart into the acid. The acid drain it’s health really fast and you can get them day 1 easily.

Here’s my way of taming a reaper in Ark survival EVOLVED:

Trap:

This trap is a design by Captain Fatdog, one of the easiest and most reliable ways to catch a Reaper. For a visual guide, search ‘Captain Fatdog Reaper Trap Ark Survival Evolved’ on YouTube — it should be the first result.

Trap Materials:

• 8 × Stone Triangle Foundations

• 8 × Stone Double Doorframes

• 6 × Stone Stairs

• 8 × Stone Triangle Ceilings

• 1–2 Charge Light sources (e.g. Lanterns)

Recommended Gear:

• Multiple Hazard Suits (Reapers shred durability fast)

• Magnifying Glass (to track health — must be ≤2k for impregnation)

• Pump-Action Shotgun (backup safety weapon)

• Light Pet (Nameless control)

• Strong Tame (Rock Drake is best, Spino is a good alternative)

• Riot Shield (to block Reaper attacks)

Process:

1. Use your tame to damage the Reaper Queen below 2k HP (I usually bring it down to ~1k so it doesn’t regen immediately).

2. Once she’s low, turn off Charge Lanterns but keep your light pet active. Position the light pet carefully — far enough to avoid weakening the Queen, but close enough to keep Nameless away.

3. Stand near the Queen with your shield raised until she picks you up. If she plans to impregnate, she’ll roar, sniff you, and then grab. (She can miss sometimes — be patient.)

4. After impregnation, immediately return to your tame and kill her to collect Reaper Pheromone Glands. Swap to a fresh Hazard Suit right after.

Aftercare:

• Build a 1×2 enclosed room (2 walls high + roof) for the birth.

• Eat a Pheromone Gland before the baby spawns.

• Aim for 75 (max) imprint to boost the baby’s level.

• Note: the Reaper’s level = Queen’s level + your imprint bonus.

• Baby will die instantly in radiation zones (during pregnancy), so keep it protected.

One of the hardest tames possible, you must lower a reaper queen to 2000 health or lower from 45k while it is taking reduced damage from everything but bleeding effect, when it is at 2000 health a pink aura will appear around it and then you have to sit there on foot and let it grab you to impregnate you with a reaper king, btw radiation will kill it before born so be careful

Easiest way to raise a Reaper:

Create a pen big enough for a Maewing.

Stock the maewing with cooked meat.

Birth the reaper (easier if you have pheromones so it doesn't attack) and go to your Maewing and use "pickup nearby babies".

This will put the baby in the Maewing saddle and now it cannot roam around OR attack you.

The reaper king can be obtained in baby form by weakening the Reaper Queen and letting her impregnate you. I prefer to trap her to weaken her, she will almost kill you when impregnated so make sure you are well equipped with Medical Brews and good armor and a good shield. Any creatures you kill during the players pregnancy will boost the level of the Reaper King baby. Good luck guys.

I just looked at this things info n if u hit head shots you could knock it out with 20 tranqs prim cross bow why don’t people just knock it out and lower health while it’s asleep

did you know if u force tame a reaper queen you can do the impregnate attack at will so reaper queen + tamed = INFENITE REAPERS (it only works on humans sadly) :(

btw the spawn command is gmsummon "xenomoph_Character_BP_male_C" for a reaper King but for a queen u replace male with female :)

I’ve found that if you catch your baby reaper in the jaws of a mega it’s easy to cryopod him. When you throw him he will no longer be hostile however you won’t be able to fill his inventory with meat from killing you

Was able to transfer to exctinction while pregnant and nothing happened to offspring. It was still on the same timer/xp.

Players ARE able to give birth to reapers on Genesis.6-19-20 build a closed pen, buy max amt of meat and let it eat you.
