When raising you can use a maewing/Maeguana to feed by putting the reaper in the saddle basket. Even if you don’t have astraeos in Asa you may still be able to obtain a Maegauna through trading they make it much easier to raise and will feed offline as long as the maegauna has food

Blood wyvern attacks kill the baby reaper that youre impregnated with... found that out the hard way when my trade deal was attacked by a guy on blood wyvern..................

Make sure you have some heals on you when the reaper queen impregnates you!!

When you get the reaper to impregnate you, do whatever you can to avoid radiation damage because the radiation will kill the baby reaper.

If your finding low levels and don’t want to kill them. Kite them off a cliff and leave the render distance of said cliff and poof. They despawn and instantly respawn a new reaper. Once you find a good level (120) above for me. Try trapping it on foundations. That way when it impregnates you it won’t bury underground leaving you left to kill it and get max levels on the baby reaper. REC. use magnifying glass to see how low it’s health is. Health for impregnation should be below 2500. Then your ready!

Total maturation time 3 days 3 hours

Total time with pregnancy 3 days 15 hours

Baby reapers eat 6 stacks of cooked meal per hour.

45 stacks should be enough to account for spoilage until it's out of baby stage.

To feed baby reapers easier make an airlocked pen and get a though full of cooked meat in your inventory 5 minutes before it hatches. Use a pheromone gland 3 minutes before birth and then claim it and stay in it's inventory. Force feed it cooked meat as it bites you since biting you makes it lose food. Then once it kills you it should collect all 60 stacks into it's inventory. Use a gland to make sure and if not feed it until gland wears off and stand on your body so the reaper eats the body.

Does anyone know why my reaper screams every 3 minutes? someone gave it to me for free after my base got attacked by ravagers. Everytime i walk it screams like a queen and each time it gets deeper. Take a high level rock drake to find these things. Bring the health of the reaper queen to BELOW 2000. Then hit the Queen with a pickaxe while on the drake. She will grab you right off of it and impregnate you. Took me about ten minutes of hitting her on a level 200 drake with high health and and a melee damage rate of about 2000. You can check her health level with a magnifying glass while Your drake recharges it’s stamina.

Wait to tame them you have to be there mom.

Fun facts about reapers!

-Reapers have a very high healthpool and damage,and also have an 80% natural armor. You do not need a saddle to ride them.

-To tame one, you must get pregnant from a reaper queen. It must be below 2000 health before it will grab and impregnate you.

-After you are impregnated, you can kill creature to increase the offspring's level. It caps out at an additional 75 level-ups, no matter the queen's level.

-Once the baby reaper bursts out of your chest, it will try to kill you. However, this can be avoided by eating a pheromone gland, which is obtained from dead reaper queens.

-These reapers aren't meant to be confused with surface reapers. Surface reapers do much more damage and have slightly less hp.

you can not reroll stats with the same reaper they will pop the same every time

you can not find colored reapers until one pops, the color of the reaper will repeat from the same reaper but you will not know it pops colors til one pops, queen will look normal.

shotgun spinos or reapers on drakes back for extra 75lvls

blackbox self with cooked meat for baby to harvest you when popping in a closed room(this way it cant run anymore and will feed itself almost to full grown on x4 if not full)

to get pregnant build the oldskool larger trap its more efficient on gaining reaper aggro and animations run smoother) and preferably build outside of rads, rads will instakill your baby if you get even a glimpse of rad sickness

use magnifying glass to check reaper hp.

A rhythnio can pick it up. Do what you will with that’s info since it makes it easier to pick up reaper queens.

Here's how reapers work: Whenever they're at low health, they pick you up and shove their tail into you, injecting a symbiote into you. It lives in ur intestines until the time comes when it burrows out of your chest and runs away. Let's face it, it's the most unique way to tame a creature.

Remember after you have been impregnated by the reaper queen (by lowing it’s health it not sure the spike in its back will grow red) taking any radiation poison will kill the reaper king inside of you

You need to turn off your lights or it wont impregnate you. That includes your shoulder pets

Good for taming animals. You ride a reaperking use its slowing ranged attack to slow the thing you want tamed dismount shoot with tranq remount slow again repeat until knocked out and if the thing you're taming is a meat eater it helps to gather taming food😃💀👍

You can now transfer servers while being pregnant, you can also die witch is good I guess.

I did this method with a lvl 1 survivor on official, it totally works, in gen2 find a reaper queen in rockwells innards, lure her into the acid beneath the big heart by the terminal, use HLNA scan to see the health drain while the acid is up, and dodge her projectiles, then just watch her health get below 2k and there you go
