Tips & Strategies
Here’s a better chance and not much of a arrow waste use crossbow and shoot them at the head it makes it faster to make it asleep
This is how to tame a raptor:
1- get a bola or craft one
2- get some meat
3- take atleast 5 narcotics for it to not wake up
4 - find one and bola it
5 - hit it with a club
6 - once you knock it out put the narcotics and meat in it
7- wait....
8-boom! A raptor!
Note: I recommend you first unlock tranq arrows, bow and arrows, since these guys do come in packs up to 2 to 5, I knocked mine out with tranq arrows, and it's also more effective.
Here is a easy way to tame this creature
1. Get a few bolas (just in case you miss or a there’s a pack)
2. Get meat
3. Find and bola raptor
4. Knock out with club/fists
5. Put meat in inventory
Boom! now you have a raptor!
Step 1= Bola raptor or climb on high rock
Step 2= Tranq out (recommend tranq arrows etc)
Step 3= make sure not other baddies in area
Step 4= wait for the hunger to go about half way down
Step 5= after waiting give raw meat, mutton, prime, kibble etc

If you ever encounter a raptor;
•Try to bola it if you have one and escape.
•If you don't have a bola,Run through trees and rocks in a zigzag way, creatures in ark are a bit too dumb in chasing.
•If there aren't many trees or rocks, for ex: you are in a plane area, try to lure the raptor to a passive or herbivores dino, like trikes, carbos,or even some moschops.
•If there isn't anything mentioned above then there's one way, Die and recollect the items.🤪
There flipping annoying every time a raptor tries to kill me I always DIE BECAUSE IT FLIPPING LATCHES ON TO YOU
These are Arks thugs .. they don't care what you are doing whether it be minding your business or if your just looking to pet a dodo. They will come and they will kill you and your dodo.. Run as far as possible swim as far .carry a bola on you so you trap your friend and escape . @chief3alpha xbox
I have killed 30 low level raptors and still can't find a good level 145
Can I kill a level 10 ALPHA raptor? One bronto, 3 parasaurs, 3 carbos, 2 raptors and two baby raptors, 3 ptéranodons, and 2 trikes! Please respond cause he’s getting closer.
Tame a few 150's, breed them, and you'll be Chris Pratt in no time.
Honestly I use raptors for taming rexes and spinos but that's probs bc I can level health up by 1 and goes up by
a thousand
Lots of guides say to leave the beaches as soon as possible, and I sort of agree. Leave the beach, but go to a spot with few trees (somewhere between the beach and the jungle) to start your first base. Definitely DON’T go straight to the jungle though, because most of the forests near start zones are filled with raptors, and if you’re a beginner you’ll be dead before you can think ‘hmm, it looks hungry.’ Not to say don’t go in the woods, just wait until you can tame/kill most raptors before trying to go too deep. Sorry for the length.

Noob :look it’s dilo !

YOU CANT TAME ALPHAS, NO MATTER THE SPECIES! I learned the hard way when a lvl 7 female alpha killed my lvl 20 pterry the pteranodon. UP FOR RESPECT FOR PTERRY AND SO NOOBS KNOW
Breeding not-so-basics 101:
Incubation: surround the egg in a ring of torches (recommend standing) and light them wooden poles on fire, if it says too hot, turn off a torch. Too cold? Light one up. If it is just right, there should be no “Too Hot!” Or “Too Cold!” Sign and should say “Incubating (10:00:00)” or something like that and the teal blue bar should go down. But if the red bar is going down instead of the blue, check the egg conditions again. If the red bar reaches zero, it cracks and it disappears. But if it hatches correctly, y’a got a baby creature, hooray!
Imprinting: this one’s a doozie, so imma make it simple. Imprinting is a OPTIONAL a thing to do. “But why so many YouTubers like Syntac do it???” Shush, I was gonna get to that. Imprinting provides health and damage bonuses, being best i remember +50% or 1.5x stats. But how do you imprint? Oh it’s easy. Once you have a baby dino and NOT let it starve (it can’t eat until it’s a juvenile) sooner or later it wants care, coming from a cuddle, walk, cooked prime fish meat… EXTRAORDINARY KIBBLE?!? Yeah there’s a lot it can range from. And it varies per dino per imprint method per server settings, so if you have a giga you wanna imprint and the imprint times only like 10 seconds, each single imprint will make such a small dent it’s like trying to blow away the moon with your breath, it’s gonna take a bit, again. Depending on your settings
Age Stages: the shortest one of them all. So imma make this really wasteful of vertical space
Baby: 1/10 of max hp and weight i think
Juvenile: can start eating from troughs, i haven’t really cared much about baby stats so I’m just guessing 1/2 of max hp and weight
Adolescent: 3/4 Of max hp and weight, I think it can start attacking, idk what or how much it does compared to fully grown
Adult/mature: fully grown, 100% usage of health and weight bars. That’s basically it
