I'm gonna build a giant pen 4 all of my predators and hav dem on aggressive then drop animals in with my argentavis

They can istantly take down dodos and make quick work of parasaurs

Taming a group of 3-4 or more and getting them a high level is gonna be really useful, especially if you want a hunting party.

It can attack VERY fast, so a high level with lots of damage is capable of killing alphas.

Taming high level tek raptor is what you want when breeding, go find a lvl 170 in south 1 and breed them for both a quick mount, and a good damaging raptor

On PVP, always have high level raptors on aggressive in case if you're being raided.

With a small pack you can kill any thing dodo,paro,turtle or trike

Tame 3 or 4 and the one with the highest level gets a special pack boost then u can kill any player

This is a great starting animal, you are able to level it up fairly quick and it’s great for multiplayer because it can act as the perfect bait.

My baby raptor was killed by a megapirahna

They’re very good, I have a level 222 rn and it kills alpha carnos and regular Rexes no problem on official. Also try and get at least 3 for the insanely good pack bonus.

Good tame for lower levels. I would level up speed,damage,and stamina. That way it can run fast and long, and able to kill easier. It's good for meat and hide runs.

Just for fun and to eliminate boredom, I have prime meat tamed 10-12 135+ raptors. So, they are not maxed stats or anything. I ride through redwood, eating everything we pass. Whistle attacking a 150 car no and watching it disappear in seconds is a blast. :) make them all the highest quality saddles you can, for armor, as well. Even better. I think I will get some kibble and perfect tame some 150s, then breed super raptors. Not going to kill tamed rexes, but definitely fun.

They are amazing in a group but by themselves they die easily

Must tame. I scorched earth i have a lvl 49 one named Nike and it saved my house from a lvl 66 tek rex don't ask me how. Early game like day 2 this happened.

There mainly used for speed but are usually in packs if you tame one you should tame atleast 3 others to make sure the pack has some real heavy damge but they can hold much weight keep that in mind

The best early to mid game tame. Once you get just one, your hide and meat problems are made much less difficult. A high level with a pack of weaker raptors are enough to take down most regular Dino’s and the occasional alpha without losses.

I recommend leveling to around 2k~ hp assuming use of saddles. Then maxing damage. Stamina shouldn’t be an issue for high levels and most mid levels.

Bolas are recommended, crossbow/bow is nice, but slingshot can also do the job. Just don’t expect to tame the entire pack with bolas and a slingshot.

As a travel mount they are ok. Trikes are generally better because of their great knock back and weight early on.

Typically you’ll see packs of 3-2 but you can see packs of 6-7 if unlucky.

Word of advice,tame a pack of 5+ (you’ll thank me later)

They should be able to latch onto brontos and stuff that would be helpful

Best starter dino, easy to tame, can get knocked easily, just use bola and club (if u r low level + the raptor is low lvl too) or tranq arrow, even can clear cave of artifact for you ....
