Best starter dino, easy to tame, can get knocked easily, just use bola and club (if u r low level + the raptor is low lvl too) or tranq arrow, even can clear cave of artifact for you ....

Uses.

Hunting : these guys are usually underestimated in strength. In some youtube videos people say that you shouldn't try to fight trikes unless you have a pack of em.. kinda right.. if there low lvl!.. a high lvl can take on 2 trikes if it has a saddle on.. and the right amount of health and melee.. I have a raptor with 960 health and 40 damage per hit. And a saddle. And 330 stamina. And he could easily take on trikes and maybe even low lvl rexes.. and carnos!.. they also have there pounce ability which let's em pin down creatures and get a bunch of free hits without getting attacked back. And it usually means 75% death for most low lvl creatures that can be pounced.. next factor!.

Traveling : these guys are fast.. like in my opinion : 35-38 miles per hour. And they also don't use much stam.. 330 Stam makes my raptor hunter be able to run for 45 seconds.. and there speed is compared to iguanodons which are also fast af!.. when there in qaudripedle mode. Iguanodons. Not raptors. But continuing. Final factor!.

Some good stuff : there saddle unlock lvl is 18 and not hard to make. There easy tames.. just Bola em. And trang/club em out depending on the lvl and torpor they have. Can easily handle small creatures no worries. The only thing you'll have to worry about is stuff like therizenos and packs of raptors.. cause it'll take you a while to handle a pack and one raptor can pounce you of your dino and kill you and yo raptor. But definently a good early-mid game tame.. even is better then terror birds.. bruh gliding is ok.. but you can tame pteranadons for longer flights and better escaping. Raptors are still great tames..

On mobile if you Swipe down to pin a small creature to the ground. I didn’t know that for ages and it’s so useful to take out Dillos and to pin anything small that runs away. If that was helpful please press the arrow pointing at the sky!

I use the raptor to make caves

Taming at least 3 maybe 4 raptors will allow you to hunt things like T. rex and diplo, you’ll need a minimum of 3 if you want a successful pack

4-5 raptors (up to 30lv) is enough to keep you safe and kill anything in the southern cave

Oh I finally maked a raptor sleep(unconscious) then tame it.

Go to check the lvl. It’s lvl 1!! Anyway then I managed to get a saddle then ride it. I thought it was fast but actually it was slow. Coz it can’t carry fkin much weight. I killed a bronto with that then theriz came and killed my raptor with my 6 dilos. Me I will get revenge. Then to get revenge I died two time still failed

Even though in ARK survival velociraptors have feathers they didn’t really have feathers in real life

If you saw a high level dodo just jump with raptor without bola or trap and tame high level dodo

I mean, they aren’t that bad, but stop saying they are amazing. Tame an Allo or Rex. You will rethink your decisions.

I’m level 30 ish and I just tamed a raptor gave it a saddle named it Phoenix and it was lvl 85 1044 health I pitted it against a level 100 trike and I would pity the thing Phoenix beat it with 900 health left 🤯

If the raptor comes out of the bola that means the Nola has where out the bola has a limit time on how long it will stay but if it breaks to fast try another tip if it’s been a few seconds bola it again for extra time and if they can still pounce or attack u are too close to the raptor go to a renter distance or tranc it behind (i recommend using a soothing balm for faster taming)

Just tame 2 raptors 1 male and 1 female and breed them and make a crew of raptors andbboom you can take on a rex
